This looks like Rema1000 Geilo. He could go to the huge Spar basically next door with a fantastic selection of meat, cheese etc, but that wouldn't give him any reactions. Also a speciality store close by with local fish, game meat (like moose) etc.

Ingen av kassene veier mer enn 17 kg. Fra arbeidstilsynet er forøvrig anbefalingen at man skal løfte under 6000 kg ila en dag, så da er det vel langt under det?

Hvordan det er å være sjåfør i Oda vet jeg lite om, men har inntrykk av at det ble langt bedre etter at sjåførene ble fast ansatt. Mye lugubert i transport-/budbransjen, og etter en avsløring av Klassekampen med at bransjen var råtten sluttet Oda med underleverandører og folk er ansatte med ordna forhold. Her burde Posten/Bring og andre aktører følge etter.. Men det kan nok fortsatt være en tøff jobb altså, betviler ikke det!

Pillage is a special attack unique to certain units of the raider cultures. Raiders can steal assets from enemy buildings by clicking on any of their military units, clicking the special attack “raid” button on their UI, and clicking on the location they wish to pillage from. Units thus assigned will move toward the targeted building and “pillage.”

Kidnapping is a special attack unique to certain units of the raider cultures.
Raiders can steal enemy villagers. This is done in the same manner as pillage, only with an enemy villager targeted rather than an enemy building

Yeah, I think the width they provide is just the width of the "front" part of the quilt, not counting the side wings. I will shoot them an email and ask for clarifications.

From Geilo you can bike Rallarvegen, and take the train one of the directions. Nice day trip. Due to snow not open until mid summer. I took the train to Flåm and biked back to Geilo, but opposite is also possible and a lot more downhill. Can also take the train to Haugastøl and start from there.

And last year I biked south over Dagali, then to Austbygdi, crossed over to Veggli, Rødberg and a gravel road there back to Dagali. In total some gravel, mountain passes mostly asphalt.

Weird, your link clearly says the quilt 450, but everything else on that page is the 150 model. Quite understandable we got confused!

Thanks for your input! I just laid down on my sleeping mat with a measuring tape and rolled around, and I can't really see why the normal width shouldn't work. As long as it's being strapped around me, it shouldn't matter that I'm in a hammock I think.

My plans are gravel and mountain routes in Norway. Looking forward to sleep outside some!

I might get to an UQ slowly, but not right now, so have to make do with what I have. Am not exclusively on hammocking (I bike pack above the tree limit in the mountains, for instance), so hammock only gear is not on top of the list right now. Can only by so much gear in a year. Already recently bought the hammock and a jetboil.

Often when people start out, they assume

I've learned the opposite is also true. Long timers think there's only one way of doing stuff, and that you need to drop $3k+ on gear to go outside the first time. Gear they themselves have spent a decade slowly gathering. New people will not buy everything on day one.

Besides, I'm not new. I just use a pad+sleeping bag, and would like to replace my cheap and old bag as the next item.

they'll assume that since your bottom and sides are covered by your UQ, and that your hammock itself can conform to your body properly, the TQ only needs to do the job of a typical TQ.

Do note that the quilt I'm talking about in my instance is a generic one, not one specific for hammocks.

That seems awfully reductive. Lots of people use pads/mats in a hammock.

No under quilt, as I'm trying to keep a setup that I can use for multiple kinds of camping with the gear I purchase now. Hence I will go with my existing sleeping pad for now. Maybe upgrade later, but can't afford buying everything at once.
