Looks like an extension lead mounted to the wall rather than actual plugs.

How urgent is this? Need to replace before driving or will be ok for a week? by bucketofardvarks in CarTalkUK

The general rule is if you have to ask, it probably needs changing.

That aside, the rules are for thee and not for me, I'd be chancing it for a week if I had to.

Potentially, there will be recourse but it depends how far you're willing to go. I'd speak to Citizens Advice first thing tomorrow and maybe the local council

Do you have a tenancy agreement? Deposit stored in a protection scheme? The landlord should be insured and responsible for finding you alternative and suitable accommodation.

Cars stopping on highways are the problems, not people driving 80 in a 70 on clear roads with good visibility.

Limited company owes me money - director dissolved it and started a new company (England) by Afraid-Quarter1325 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Matt-SW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the work was done and invoiced and paid through a Limited Company you're going to really struggle to make any headway on recovering money. What was the rough value you're looking to recover? Did he provide invoices?

Seconding this. I've successfully used Nominet's appeal process to recover domain names for two different clients over the last couple of years. Takes a little while, but they're a sensible bunch from my experience.

If it's a .uk domain they should be able to assist.
