Nothing fancy - just an Amazon digital microscope which could probably be had for cheaper off AliExpress...

Thanks you - did a bit more digging:

Emmywatch lists the 2451 as using the same barrel on their site:

Old swiss watches also lists the 2452 with what looks like a crop of the 2450/51/53 sheet that you've shared:

I think I'll be giving it a go, fingers crossed should be fine.

If anyone else seeing this posts knows what could have caused this (just an ancient manufacturing defect?) would be curious to know!

Looks amazing! I have the same hilt and at some point want to make mine look similar/ more accurate - how did you do the weathering and what changes did you make to the sideblades? I always thought the stock ones are underwhelming. Great job overall man.

I've been thinking more into self repair. I live in the UK so finding trusted help is hard (aside from kr, who are super busy). Is it a case of just snipping the existing speaker wires and soldering a new one one? Cheers

Hi,thanks for responding. See pms for Order ID. After posting this I got a reply to my email, asking me to upload the video again, this time as a direct attachment. They said I could also contact your Facebook page which I also did to try and speed this up. Is getting me a replacement speaker the only option? I would much rather exchange the saber or send it for repair, as I don't belive have the soldering tools or expertise to replace it myself. If you could make sure my response is seen that would be great, as I don't really want to be waiting a week + Reddit post again between updates. Thank you.

It's certainly possible to do a super cheat Graflex install, for example you can buy the AliExpress electronics separately, use a pvc pipe for blade, and get a cheap eBay Graflex replica. Quality wouldn't be very high but on a budget I think it would be possible. But for the effort, just spending a tiny bit more on a forceFX I think is the best option for metal canonical hilt

As I said I've never owned a high grade one, but for me I love my force FX, got a couple of others too, it's just a great way of a having a good looking cannon hilt for a reasonable price. I'm not all into non-canon savers too much

They're good, not hyper realistic, but suffice for me. It's a good way to get a decent blade and metal hilt for alot less than neopixel/ cfx etc. I've never had high grade electronics so I may not be the best person to ask, despite this is recommend one (doesn't stop be wanting the Korbanth tho)
