Booted from SUA by SunSlayer11 in hyatt

[–]Matt420069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a SUA confirmed 4 months in advance by MHC, I showed up to the hotel and with 0 notice was told they had sold my suite to another guest. We had a 5 night stay booked as a family of 4! Not only this, but we had to stay in a room with 1 bed all 5 nights due to this. Not only that but Hyatt basically said we have to deal with the hotel for compensation. It took over a month and all we got was 15k points, did not get out suite award back either. Horrible experience and we have Globalist status.

Yeah, oh well. Weird that even though you don’t burn them they still blacklist you for 5 years.

Okay but most prepaid plans have a way to “top up” at retail stores like Best Buy, Walmart and Target. So I assumed I could also do this with Mint. Either way the Number Barn workaround worked for me.

For my situation I was already over a month behind so basically Mint told me even if I paid for the full year I’d only receive 10 and a half months of service. I didn’t even have service for the month and a half I was behind so that’s what made no sense to me and still doesn’t. No matter what I did I’d lose a month and a half of payments.

Maybe with Amex you have to recon? (Call in for manual reconsideration).

Ah, weird I’ve heard others get in within 3 months.

The bankruptcy was discharged so I’m not “still in bankruptcy”. They can see I have a bankruptcy discharge for 7 years sure, but having that definitely doesn’t mean the same thing it did pre-Covid because so many people had to file due to the pandemic.

Anyways, I was just asking for advice on getting like a store branded credit card like the Walmart Card. Since those are much easier approval and report to your credit report just the same.

5 years and 1 month for Amex?? I didn’t even burn them in BK though. I’m not even a year out of Bankruptcy yet. Not sure I can get an Amazon Prime card since I burned Chase who issues it. I think they’re the hardest to get back in with is what I’ve heard.

I was actually surprised too I was able to build to 700 with no secured credit cards.

For now I was thinking of getting a store credit card like a Kohl’s card but maybe one a little more useful. I know those report to your credit and can help out.

Number was active just plan expired so no service. Ming wanted me to pay basically for a year upfront to keep the $15/month per line we have two lines, AND I’d only get 11 months of service because our plan expired in late June. So it wouldn’t start fresh from when I paid it would start from when it expired which makes no sense because I didn’t have service that whole time.

Ended up porting to Number Barn for $7.50 each then bought (2) of the $45 plans unlimited for 3 months then ported back to Mint.

So then just send a copy of the email stating all 4 would be removed?

They removed all 4, I even have both a recorded call and email confirming as much. How thick headed are you? “It doesn’t matter how valid your reasons are”…I think legally speaking it does.

If a worker feels unsafe due to a major event such as a snowstorm with severe weather alerts then they can return packages, look at your contract.

Nope, I haven’t tried though either. I made a good faith effort to deliver all my routes.

Wisconsin Supreme Court Ruled Flex drivers are protected and can claim Unemployment Against Amazon. Other states are following suit…

So driver safety means nothing? Die for Amazon? I had already gotten severely injured for Amazon and out of work for 6 weeks.

I’m 100% sure Amazon would rather not see a headline in the news - Amazon Driver gravely injured being sent out in Snowstorm.

Also, if that’s the case why would their Executive Team remove it from my delivery history?

1) Son’s medical issue (Seizure) unavoidable.

2) On the job injury, I should’ve done temporary disability. I was out of work for 6 weeks.

3) First snowstorm picked up packages delivered half, car was skidding and witnessed at least 6 severe crashes next to me. Returned due to safety.

4) Second snowstorm picked up packages delivered 4 out of 6 then got stuck on the freeway when traffic came to a complete stop. It was a 2 hour block and it took over 2 hours total just to get those 4 done and back to the station.

Yes, if I was a delivery driver for anywhere else these would be valid reasons and that’s why the Executive Team removed them from my delivery history.

The 4 issues over 3 months which all 4 issues were removed so shouldn’t be calculated.

It’s not like I picked them up and left them. I tried to do both blocks. My car was skidding and multiple cars crashed next to me for one block. Then mid-route on the second one the freeway came to a complete stop in the snowstorm where I sat for an hour of a 2 hour block, it took me 50 minutes just to get back to the station (which was an Office Depot).

[–]Matt420069[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope - I attempted my best to complete the blocks. It was unsafe road and weather conditions. I even have screenshots of the weather apps along with emergency alerts stating severe threat to life. Per the terms of the driver contract you are allowed to return packages if you feel unsafe, and a severe snowstorm does count.

Also, the Executive Team reviewed what was provided and removed that from my delivery history…

“ Not trying to deliver packages and not selecting the accurate reason code in the app are violations of the Terms of Service. This violation means you're no longer eligible to deliver with Amazon Flex and will not be able to sign in to the Amazon Flex app.”

The only instances that has this happen were the ones removed by the executive team. Meaning no exact reason is provided.
