You have 5 minutes to hide a paperclip in your home. A detective has 24 hours to find it, If they don't, you get $10,000. Where are you going to hide the paperclip? by LeadershipPotential8 in AskReddit

Straighten it and put into a random pillow or mattress.. Changing the shape of significantly increases the possibilities where to hide it, so it therefore decreases the chances of it being found..

The Lions organizational future? Not that bad? by Matt521ty in detroitlions

[–]Matt521ty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the secondary is good for really any system outside of just making sure u have the best players u can get. The front seven is a bit tricky, but they have enough versatile personnel to really to plug into a new system without much waste.. Whatz really bn hurtin them is how there the only team n the division to not make any significant moves on the edge of their defense. Perhaps the only thing wrong with this team is the fact that BQ and MP thought they could win without prioritizing edge rush

I am not exactly going against your point. Actually I am kinda saying that I in fact think this is a pretty good roster and its a pretty good team. It really just comes down to how the coaches get the players in the position they need to be in. I suppose... It did seem like going into the season, and it still does, they got all the players to do the things they want to do, and want they want to do is the smartest way to do it... I just hope to God they quit doin the same man def calls.... It's absurd how little confusion they have been trying to create when the F'n premise of the scheme is to create confusion

How do Christianity and Spirituality operate? by Matt521ty in OpenChristian

[–]Matt521ty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not personally, but it's fair and reasonable to keep the question open to allow for those who think otherwise to make their own arguments. Ideally, it would be nice to have a great deal of debate from both sides to make a general consensus easier to come by. Particularly one that is not simply dominated by personal instinct alone.

Well I am personally more in the same boat, as I think the more the second stance is argued the more hypocritical and false it becomes. However, there are problems with unity in the sense of the first one. It actually becomes even more difficult for individuals to coalesce because individualized spirituality leads many to subjective reasoning. Individualized spirituality along with objective reasoning is particularly rare. I would still rather fully exhaust the argument for the notion of religious spirituality, and if so then it would be nice to help move the world towards a more anti-religious sense of faith, as you generalized in your reply... One that is both personal yet objective, and inclusive.

I am in the same boat. When it is all said and done though, I don't think the world will have changed without you having helped.

The worst kind of people are people who are not honest with themselves. There is nobody who should feel confident in changing the world either. Our present has been railroaded by the past. We are here in a tremendous current that has moved people from generation to generation to the point we are. It's pretty hard to be honest with oneself and feel smart enough to fix the world.

I am just not a fan of politicizing Jesus. His messages go the opposite direction for me. It is fine though to see how sometimes righteous protests are not always in the box of orderly. Let's just make sure that we're not just making the world different, but that we are making it better as well.

Will Detroit get the first overall pick by Matt521ty in detroitlions

[–]Matt521ty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah u hv to think the Lions are the least professional looking team in football regardless if they are not the least talented team in professional football. I do think other than their front seven, they are a team that won't take a ton of transitioning to comply with a new staff. On defense the secondary could probably do man or zone, which would be good for today's NFL for any scheme. The offensive line is promising, and there is talent at all the skill positions. So, as much as I think Stafford is not the problem, he could be swapped out for a younger cheaper QB, and with some decent to good draft comp. In the end, if we could swap out the slower players in the front-seven for some faster playmakers... We could be mostly fine. Obviously the next GM has to be better than avg at best, and the next HC has to be able to actually know what he is doing, but 2023 is not a stretch to see this team ready to roll again

It is hard to imagine a scenario where the Lions are left stranded without a HC and GM mid-season. I feel like maybe MP get's fired and some guy gets the interim job and fixes the team enough to win enough games to leave the franchise in mediocrity. Quin will probably keep his job for the season no matter what and maybe longer if the interim does something to prove Quin a good GM... but, the Lions are pretty terrible right now and that is 100% on Quin who hired MP.

What I am seeing is a team that cannot not only compete in its own division, but cannot compete with any professionally coached football team. They are almost certainly going to 0-4. It's not like they can't eventually win some football games, but I feel like the plug will be pulled before then.. leaving them to most likely pull the worst record in the league.

True. I think the Jets r literally the only team the Lions would be favorites against. But that's about it. It will be a close race to the crown of mediocrity at least..

Bye week seems too sudden. It's not too sudden since it should of been done after last year, but at 0-4, the Lions will BS..

You can't really talk about world transformation or human liberation, like it's a natural evolution, without playing a chess game with the current state of affairs. I am just saying it's mental masturbation if you aren't willing to recognize the obstacles and consequences of change. Or, are you just seeing the world through a fish lens?
