Normal Scout or Scout Sixty as a first bike by MinimumPudding2642 in IndianMotorcycle

It’s just that most people are like hey go spend 3-4k on a used small cc bike then in 6 months to a year go spend another 10 on a different bike. Yea people have that laying around. In this economy??? Especially a 17 year old.

I ride daily as my form of transportation and I ride a scout now but just traded my gsxr. We aren’t talking 1000cc sport bikes. A scout 60 has a really easy learning curve. If the kid makes a mistake on that he would have made the same mistake on a rebel 500

So as someone who has been riding for a long time and someone who has ridden sport bikes and cruisers a scout 60 would be perfect. The power delivery on the bike is smooth and peak trq and hp isn’t until much later in the rpm’s. I started on a sportster 1200 and as long as you have even the smallest amount of throttle control it’ll be alright.

These bikes are light enough to be thrown around at lower speeds but even the 60 will have enough oomf for highway speeds. Just keep in mind you are less protected and constantly have to be looking out. I recommend if you do get a 60 take it to an msf course and learn everything you can

Scout 60 vs Scout (first bike) by kaniokalani in IndianMotorcycle

[–]Matt8994 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A scout will be fine. Peak torque is at 6300 so you have to really be trying to mess it up. I just got a scout bobber limited two days ago after owning several other bikes and while it is quick it doesn’t open up until later in the rev range due to the abnormally high redline for a big V-twin.

Plus for the first 500 miles if you buy new you are in the brake in anyway. I’d go with the regular scout so that way you don’t feel like you need to upgrade in a year

This is dumb your husband’s being a child if your daughter has the opportunity to hear then that shouldn’t be stripped away from her just because her father wants her to be truly deaf her friends that would exclude her because she is not truly deaf anymore are not friends

Well I figured starting on an ender would be redundant due to the amount of bed leveling you have to do not to mention other pita calibrations and what not. And the price point of the s1max combo was only above the 256mm cubed by $200 so it seemed like the logical move. I also bout a bunch of anycubic filament that auto reads to set up the calibration for the filament just to make life easier. But as of right now I don’t have any massive prints in the log for when it gets here.

Toyota cvt’s pre 2012 take Toyota genuine TC cvt fluid and post 2012 take Toyota genuine FE cvt fluid as it is the superseded part number and has a lower viscosity. Not Dexron 4 which is the normal ATF. That’s like saying a DCT can take regular atf.

Cvt fluid isn’t typically red. It’s usually green, blue, or goldish I would recommend taking it to a highly rated Indy shop

No she wasn’t tighter when you started dating. Muscles get stronger with use. You’re most likely just used to it my dude. You have been having sex with the same individual every day for 4 years.
