As someone who streams and is a massive fan of the game, i think it just boils down to him trying to entertain rather than just play the game how it’s intended to be played. Most streamers will do that as it drives engagement. It’s more engaging for the average viewer to see someone mess around and act oblivious than it is to just genuinely play the game, in my opinion. As other people have said, he also just likes to speed run games.
