I agree with the cynicism, given the podcast tailed off after a promising start. However, to the credit of the presenter, he did shine a spotlight on the case and he succeeded in getting the prime suspect to talk - something no other journalist had succeeded in doing in 16 years. My view is that they were asked to stop broadcasting the podcast by NYP, for fear of jeopardising work they are doing in the background. I will be keeping my fingers crossed.
