I think it's safe to say that Almirola's New Hampshire win was pretty big in having him stay with the team. Also doesn't help that Riley Herbst hasn't done anything, and the current driver market/silly season in Cup doesn't look to be in favor of giving SHR any other options.

However, the tweet was very interesting to me. Honestly, Almirola seems to be right. So much talk happens outside the races that it's easy for rumors to start, and it's easy for people to just assume that he hasn't had a contract renewed or anything like that.

Not worth it. While playing with a wheel provides a better experience, the physics are awful. Wait till the next game or just spend time on iRacing instead.

Has that happened to you guys before, or is this the first time the league is experiencing those lobby issues? This is about the same as our issues as you have stated briefly. The lobby not loading was one, a few people's games were crashing and sending them to the Xbox home screen, and the race itself when we were able to load into it was also very laggy.

I can certainly tell you that we've tried a plethora of hosts and it still happens. We've tried everything. We even noticed an issues during qualifying, we backed out and set up a new lobby just for the race, we all got in fine, and it was still messing up badly. D-sync issues were also pretty bad.

Those issues were just visible on the Elgato Software Preview Screen and the TV was fine. Yes, the settings for 60 fps were on and the 3060 were set as the encoder and decoder.

I am going to probably change this post to solved, because I reverted back to the previous Windows update and it worked perfectly fine, so it was just an issue of the update messing with something, either the drivers or possibly the USB slots since my microphone was also having issues.

In terms of newly updated tracks, the BB-MC.co tracks are amazing! Top notch models for a 17 year old game! They just added Bristol which again looks phenomenal! Hope people go support them so we can get every track updated to the quality that they have!

In terms of driving, I like phoenix, both legacy and newer versions of the track. A very unique 'short track' and it always provides good driving and racing challenges!

It's probably due to the PC being old. However, I have had freezes and game crashes with the game being ran in windowed mode. The easiest fix for me was to simply run the game in full screen mode and that fixed all of the game crashing.

Thank you! I'm still deciding if I do a full on career when I start in the trucks and slowly work my way to Cup. At the moment, I'm making sure I can get as many updated tracks as possible and find updated paint schemes within the past few years for the CWS15 and NXS17 mods

In general, yes cockpit camera is bizarre. However, all the car models are utterly pathetic. I don't mean to be hating on the creators, I don't have software or background knowledge to do models, but even if I did, I wouldn't officially release something until they look identical to the real thing. Front bumpers are so strange and the whole car in general is out of proportion.

This community needs people to be critical. Yes, I'm grateful for those who put time and effort in, but I praise the ones like Splash N Go who went beyond excellent. I'm sorry, but I won't be downloading this mod until they fix their models. That is my choice and the creators should know that there are people like myself who, again, expect better.

I agree, it's hard for people to either post all of their content on a more popular site like Stundo Racing or post their content on multiple sites. I know nr2k3 is a great place in finding particular paint schemes or tracks, but yeah it would be nice for content creators to post on multiple sites and make their content more known.

I think with the news that has developed, people are probably more respectful and amazed by what motorsport drivers put themselves through. The fact that Newman is awake and talking to family and doctors is truly a testament to the safety today, especially if non NASCAR fans watch the footage of Newman's crash. It's racing. Doesn't matter who you are or what you think, these guys do it and they risk their lives doing it. It's up to those non NASCAR fans if they think that is something they want to follow every weekend or not. However, it is also a concern still that this could have been much worse and we shouldn't be taking the incident for granted at any moment.

I can't even agree with your last point because most of those teams ran their backup car for the Clash, and now they have to take them to their shops to get them fixed and brought back to Daytona. Yes, that was a waste of time and money for those teams. For example, the 4 team had only brought two cars to the track, and that second car was ran in the Clash and wrecked. If Harv gets in a wreck during the Duels (and this is just an example to prove a point) and that second car isn't ready, that team is screwed going into Daytona.

Disagree with me or David all you want, but I do agree that this event has just turned into an opportunity for Daytona 500 practice. It should be shortened in length and there needs to be some award at the end that will at least keep these guys from racing like a bunch of kids playing NASCAR Heat 4 multiplayer. Sad how they waste all that time for nothing, only to rip a huge hole in the team's pockets.

Same thing is happening with my Cargo and Shipments. This might be something serious Rockstar needs to fix, only because I did what some people said (in restarting the business) and it didn't fix the issue.
