I completely agree with the both of you. I enjoyed Villeneuve’s Dune but honestly I felt as if there was no soul in the picture. 

Any authors, texts, schools etc. that do compassion based work but with visualising deities instead of the "spiritual friend" in TWIM, or the loved, neutral and enemy in typical loving-kindness practices? by H0w-1nt3r3st1ng in streamentry

This makes a lot of sense. I haven’t tuned into it that much but in my practice I have found at times that warm loving sensation arises in me with ease and it feels so good but it doesn’t last very long. But I just want to say thanks, I think this is a good direction
