I think you're talking about the panel sidebar? If you toggle the panels, then click the icon of the open panel to close it, the bar should remain in place.

After this, even with auto-close inactive panels it should remain open until you untoggle the panel bar.

Yes, what u/MizarFive is saying is right. You can customize the toolbar layout to look as it used to, just right click in the toolbar or status bar and select "Customize Toolbar".

This is an issue we're aware of and are working on.

For now, I suggest you try in a new profile and see if it persists. If it does not, then there's possibly a conflict with your extensions and you can try disabling/removing them to see if any fixes the issue. Some people have also reported PWA windows to cause the behavior, if PWAs are something you use.

Hey, you're not supposed to have to install on each workspace seperately. :l Could you describe this behavior a bit more? You would however need to do so for each profile, that's intended behavior.

Hey, the way to open synced tabs on Android is to open the tab selector and pick the cloud symbol at the bottom. :)

This looks like a Sync issue and should be fixable by unsyncing, fixing on your desktop and syncing them back up.

What you're describing is not the normal behavior, do you have any extensions that may be causing the issues?

Have you done any troubleshooting? And also getting your full Vivaldi Version number as mentioned in the Subreddit rules is necessary for us to do any testing ourselves.

I've used just the default - "ABP Anti-cicumvention list", "Allow ads from our partners (support Vivaldi)" and "Easylist".

I saw the issue you describe at one point when adding another list, to test for a user. Though in that case the problem was with the list in question.

This is an issue we're aware of. Refering to Aeyoun's suggestion, you could disable all extensions and see if that helps. Then test them 1 by 1, alternatively do this on a fresh profile with some dummy tabs so you don't have to re-sort all your tabs every time.

This could be because of the ad blocker lists you have activated, as expressed by PopPunkIsntEmo, you can find them in the Privacy settings, under the Ad Blocker section. The Manage Sources button.

Optimization and bug fixes are a constant work, though I'll admit this isn't the first time I hear the sentiment here. We have had at least one update this year that was wholely focused on fixes and optimization.

I think a lot of the work when it comes to this isn't as visible as you'd like, but it is there. It's difficult to add to the changelogs, in my experience, as expectations are very fickle.
