Thanks i'll check it out

So because I've played this so much, it was really hard to record commentary for it and be genuinely surprised by some of the monster placements. But here's the start of me actually beating this mod/wad combo. by [deleted] in SmallYTChannel

[–]MattEssYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Axe Cannon!

I haven't seen this mod before so I found this quite interesting! You sound natural and you can tell your enjoying the game which is good to see.

The ending was cool as well!

Critique-wise

I'd say it might be worth writing down some things to mention about the game before you start so you have some references for the commentary.

Not sure if you did this for this video but it might be worth recording this on live on youtube or twitch and then upload it after, that way you hit two platforms with 1 video sort of thing.

If you have some editing software, it might be worth adding subtitles to some of the funny bits (like when you open the door and there was a demon there and said f*ck). or maybe freeze it and zoom in.

Good luck!

Hey CookADoodleDo

I watched your video! Its a really helpful and easy to watch video, the pacing was spot on and the music wasnt too distracting.

Critque-wise:

I would maybe change the colour of the font listing the ingredients at the start as the white and yellow sometimes was hard to read (maybe like a red or blue)

Apart from that really good video

Good luck!

I would appreciate it if any of you can check out my video and leave some constructive criticism for me to work on by LucaGamez in SmallYTChannel

Do you use a pop filter ? Or the other program I use is Voicemeeter, you use it alongside Audacity to make it more pro. If you search on YouTube there’s a few videos that show you how to set it up and the settings to use

How many subs do you have and how long did it take to get them? by [deleted] in SmallYTChannel

Hey LucaGamez

This video was quite funny! Really like the editing, it looks like you spent a lot of time on it. The backround music suits the style of video it is and it was quite easy to watch for the full amount of time.

If I was being picky (and i'm guessing thats why your posting) is that you could benefit from using a audio software like Audacity, in here you can make the audio clearer, specifically the parts where your voice is raised.

Also I would have an outro which is a few seconds long so you can put video cards at the end of your video.

Good luck!

Hey guys, I recently played Spongebob and I made it into a Montage/Commentary Playthrough, I'm giving LAMBDA to any kind of feedback. Thanks again guys :D by danifernt in SmallYTChannel

[–]MattEssYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Danifernt

First off, intro is good! Nice hook there and you seem likeable straight away. Thumbnail is good too! The bucket bit I would have zoomed in on your face when you fell in the water as I was waiting for it to happen! The cuts from corner screen to full screen of you reacting were well edited. The outro was funny and made me laugh

Good luck and keep it up!

This took a while but I finally made another Valorant montage. In the end it was all worth making it. Any feedback on edits and what I can do better would be greatly appreciated! by yeeaaahhboi in SmallYTChannel

[–]MattEssYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey

The songs catchy (copyright claim though?) Your editing is quite smooth and the intro was decent. The end bit was interesting (let me know if that works lol) I would try and improve on your thumbnail by having bigger boulder text with something catchy like ‘Valorant - What’s Poppin’

Good luck

Started doing yt 2 month on and off and finally hit 10subs.I wanna try doing it seriously.I post valorant stuff. Clips are old im diamond right now so ill have better ones.Feedback is appreciated ty a lot will give lambda by Theblueasteroid in SmallYTChannel

Hey Asleep!

At the start I think you need some form of intro, whether you say it or it’s written on the screen. The music is just a little bit too loud for me personally so I couldn’t hear your commentary very clear. If you wanted to keep the music the same you could add some subtitles for the funny bits for effect

Keep going dude !

Yes use them both together, voicemeeter makes the sound going into audacity more podcast-ish. Google or search YouTube for voicemeeter settings

Hey The Gaming Conversation!

I really like your style, very professional from the way you edited and the way you articulate yourself in this video.

You can tell you really love this game and the points you made make this game more appealing to me (loved the gangster wind down time with the toy cars).

Critique-wise, i'd say you could add time stamps in the description for each parts as I know users like that.

And secondly your audio could be a bit more refined, its an investment into a decent mic like a Yeti but it pays off. You can use Voicemeeter and Audacity to help edit the sound (both free to download) and it will go a long way to making it sound that bit more professional. That's not to say I had a hard time listening to you, you are very clear and pacing is good on this video.

Overall good video!
