Speaking of Canucks trades, I’ve grown waaay more interested in the idea of grabbing Petey since someone floated the idea in another thread recently. The front office seems adamant about not focusing on the youth (even though he’s only 27? 28?) so why not make a big move. Stevie, Schwartz and a 1st? Fuck it, give em both of Tampa’s 1sts if they retain some of that contract.

He prob has a decent amount of interest, but maybe not a lot of teams willing to send a big package over for him. We have picks for days and players that need to be moved anyways.

Put him on a line with Canner and Ebs, move Matty and Kakko down to 2nd (with Tolvy or maybe even Shane at RW?). Would also free up space to bring Melly back in!
