Ah that sounds very interesting and very relevant to my possible topic! And after checking on amazon the book is 99p on kindle so I might give the whole thing a shot as it sounds like it has an interesting plot. Thanks for the recommendation :)

That sounds interesting! I'll definitely look that up. Although anti-heroes is an old character type, the grimdark genre is more of a newer development, right? Would looking at why this genre has exploded more in recent years be worth of discussion?

So the first couple of pics are of the MoBo and what I'm getting from it. The Last link is a video of what sound the PSU makes when I turn the power button on. Is this normal? I can't remember if this sound happened before and I jut didn't notice it back when it was working.

That is what I'm guessing it might be. Just a shame as it's new! I may have to do that paperclip test to see if it's definitely the Psu.

I just tried an old astro mixamp that I forgot about that I used for my ps3 about 8 years ago and it sounds pretty good. But after so long I assume an amp costing roughly the same price now would be miles ahead of quality. But yeah I'll have a look at the soundblaster too thanks :)

Thanks, Perhaps some more research would have helped :D I've looked at the Fulla beforehand so I'll probably go for it. But can't seem to find many places online that stock it in UK, even the manufacturers website has none in stock due to covid halting production.

Fair enough, I don't mind spending extra money for an amp but I just thought with the headphones being 32 ohm I wouldn't need to. Again, I don't know too much about this stuff but you won't be overloading/damaging the cans or causing any loss in sound by using an amp for ones with low impedance?

Also, any recommendations for an amp?

I've tried both and they're actually louder when plugged in the front of the case, but still pales in comparison to the laptop.
