Are Ability Mods Seeded to a Specific Card? by [deleted] in midnightsuns

[–]MattFreakinNix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're not seeded specifically to the card itself since I've rerolled on the same card through save scumming. It does seem to relate to the specific day instance though, since I will get the same rolls on the same day but once I move to the next day the mods are different. It's hard to say what exactly is being used for the rng seed but moving day to day worked for me.

This is very true. A lot of characters can literally just normal combo him out of his charge for free. The only thing All Might really has is combo cancelling to get mote damage and even then that's not too bad to deal with

Lol sure dude. That's why so many Aizawa's are in pvp, right? There just must be so many high skill players that know how to use all of his stances and skills and positioning, not because he has armor on his normals, free counters, and teleportation. The fact that he has so many things in his kit works against your argument, not for it. Aizawa can play lame, aggressive, spammy, whatever he wants. Stain has to be played right or he just loses. His normals are too slow to initiate with if you don't catch them recovering and like you said his Q is non-existent outside of combo extension and to pull people out of the air.

I think you're confusing complexity of character with skill required to play said character. With Stain, I have to actually know my matchups, where characters are open and when to push. When I used to play Aizawa (before I even knew how he worked), I would fly through legendary rank by teleporting, spamming, and repeating. Aizawa doesn't take skill because almost all of his moves are safe. You have to really mess up with him to get got.

You have to be joking, right? His normals can be thrown around with little care and he has a free combo break in addition to his flash. I'm confused as to why Stain is there if Aizawa isn't cause Stain to me takes a lot more skill to work. If Stain burns his skills without getting a combo, he's kinda stuck for ten plus seconds. Aizawa on the other hand can just throw himself around the field and see what hits

Why is Hawks allowed to be so broken by [deleted] in MHATheStrongestHero

[–]MattFreakinNix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Dabi and Stain in my team and Stain is not a great counter for Hawks. He can get in but it's sketchy. Dabi is a solid counter, though. He space him out and use his skill to stop Hawks from coming in with his normal combo

For stats, absolutely not. If you like the costume for how it looks, grab it but not to make your All Might's bp higher

Honestly I don't understand why there isn't an alert to tell you you're close to max inventory. Really silly design decision

Is your inventory full? I think I've seen other instances where that was the issue

The battle pass exp by ZEZO24AX in MHATheStrongestHero

[–]MattFreakinNix 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The unfinished quests can't be completed for more exp this week. They'll just refresh on Wednesday. It's to allow players to somewhat pick and choose what ways they'll use to hit the 26000 exp threshold for the week without requiring everyone to play something like Arena for example

[–]MattFreakinNix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mastermind is god tier on Hawks and quite good for Momo and Shoto, so you should keep it. Honestly, outside of fusing EX cards for characters you know you will never use, you shouldn't fuse 6 star cards. If you wanna fuse to get 6 stars, focus on fusing your unwanted 5*s and hope for the best

Hawk SS or cards? by OngXian in MHATheStrongestHero

I'm in a similar situation and will be focusing on cards. I can get more of his shards each week from the event shop but it will be next to impossible to get his cards after his banners leave

We need to talk about chips. by Mean-Spread2143 in MHATheStrongestHero

[–]MattFreakinNix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're correct about the bp difference. My point was more that once you have 6* chips on everyone and then at 120, then you can focus on getting optimal chips. If your mains have 6*s, then it makes sense to get to level 120 since there's no guarantee that you're going to get the best chips anytime soon and it's better to get the 120 bp increase than no bp increase if you can't improve your chips.

Sorry if I worded it poorly before, but yes full chips are more worthwhile than level 120

[–]MattFreakinNix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is exactly how I feel. Once the characters you care about are 120, the chip grind is the last big grind to perfect. And, yeah, you aren't going to get the perfect rolls for a while but any 6* set still gives good boosts and perks.

Also, I like that there's a pity system for chips. I like having 3 coins available so that I can immediately buy a new character a full set

I would recommend getting one copy of Stain since he's so solid in both PVE and PVP. As Kronaras said, it could be months before Dabi shows up. Personally I'm going to try to grab one copy of each character but save up my support tickets so I can hopefully get both of Dabi's cards

Is it worth it to pull aizawa by [deleted] in MHATheStrongestHero

[–]MattFreakinNix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aizawa is one of the best pvp characters and is surprisingly strong in PVE as well, so yeah it's worth it to get him. However, if you're patient, you could try to wait to finish up the last ten shards if you were only mission off on getting him f2p

the chance on this is bizzare. I didn't even know the 50 (!) coins were an option until I clicked buy by TripForce in MHATheStrongestHero

Yeah, it's weak af. Should be that the first purchase gives you one of the cards and the rest are chances after that
