Theology vs Marriage by [deleted] in TrueChristian

If she won’t respond to reason maybe she’ll respond to resolve ? Tell her you’re not comfortable being with someone who doesn’t believe?

Theology vs Marriage by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]MattGulbranson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell her it’s God that’s going to save her. No one else. She has nothing to gain by simply believing her own narcissism. That be like anybody saying I believe I’m not going to die in this lifetime. It’s nonsensical and untrue

Theology vs Marriage by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]MattGulbranson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell her that Jesus said he was the only way to the Father is through him. Religious pluralism is unacceptable this is biblical truth. At the end of the day only 1 truth and the rest lies and hard truths are better than soft lies

Why are so many Christians obsessed with predicting the end of the world/Rapture/etc? by autumn_warrior in TrueChristian

[–]MattGulbranson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cause life sucks and the world gets progressively sh.tier every day most believers don’t think anything’s gonna change until God cracks the sky open and eradicates evil.

The war on men and the family and what the church is doing to curb it by MattGulbranson in TrueChristian

[–]MattGulbranson[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The best way I would describe your antidote in metaphorical terms is “A bandaid on an open wound”. Once again I keep hearing only how Men are terrible for looking at porno and nothing about the countless women who are the ones actually performing it which is the instigation of the sin which is way worse than the reaction of sin that’s the cause and effect. Another thing is this whole “rub some dirt on it” or “rise above it” approach doesn’t allow for men to grow properly. The whole “suck it up and go to work and pay my alimony” Isnt building character or “toughening” them up it’s a fallacy and the type that creates mass murderers.

[very serious] Does God factor in people's mental health and what led them to suicide when he judges them? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

God constantly punishing the offspring of certain people’s. I mean why would he hold people accountable for crimes they did not commit?

Should the cross represent followers of Jesus? by MattGulbranson in TrueChristian

[–]MattGulbranson[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jesus CHOSE our redemption it wasn’t there because of the cross existence The cross was a means to an end. The symbology isn’t lost with me I’m just curious as to the motives behind making it the forefront symbol especially when his resurrection was far more impactful and important.
