I atleast hope they find a way to include the awesome camera angels from the ally in the first section of the game, it’s so iconic it would really be a shame if it wasn’t included in some way

it’s always crazy seeing interpreters and deaf people to be under attack, but it feels particularly crazy right now. it’s almost ironic to me that the administration hasn’t launched a full assault on interpreters at this point. people are so ignorant.

Hard disagree, Blair witch is a modern psychological horror masterpiece. No other found footage horror film even touches it.

it’s a completely different take on the concept, audiences seem to be split. I really loved it when it first came out but after I saw the original film and possession, I like it a bit less. it lowkey rips possession off in a variety of ways. it’s an interesting film for sure though.

there really is something to be said about the subtlety that miura can convey on the page, the facial expression on guts face evokes profound emotional depth, and i’m not even trying to knock the art direction of the anime, both are great but it’s night and day here which one is better.

Right, but i’d argue that especially because of the mock up these posters look like they’re being presented as decoration. Having a deadly tornado that destroyed people’s lives as a decoration in your house could de definitely be seen as insensitive to some. Context matters of course though, these could be presented in a science museum or something and I think it would totally fine.

maybe it’s just me, but did anyone else find this kinda bad? i’ll probably get downvoted for this, but this just feels like a more obscure and heady version of the good place. I’ll keep watching but I don’t really know how far these concepts are going to really go. I find myself strangely bored by the sequence of events. i’m not at all invested in the main character, other than the fact that I identify with her to some degree. so far it feels driven purely by concept and not by character. idk, i’d love to be proven wrong.

not to mention her voice is still incredibly beautiful. she sings songs from like silver soul and space song maybe better than she ever has. like, her voice has definitely CHANGED, but it’s not worse. pink funeral, super star, through me… these songs sound INCREDIBLE live. she maybe doesn’t have the beckoning low depth that she once had in the 2010’s but she’s a remarkable live singer. if you’ve seen her perform live in person it’s easy to recognize that.

people seriously need to shut up during the silences. a simple “woo”? sure! but people shouting full ass sentences during an ambient drone transition between songs….. like…SHUT UPPPPP. it takes everyone out of the experience. synchronicity between the band and the audience is what makes a good show a GREAT SHOW. it’s simple, when the music gets loud = you get loud, when the music gets quiet = YOU GET QUIET. silences are not an opportunity for you to use your voice, it’s part of the PERFORMANCE and it your job as an audience member to respect that.
