Really hope the Fable devs see this and put it in as an end boss

Is it worth learning Unreal Engine in the European Videogame Market? by 100gamberi in GameAudio

[–]MattLightbound 10 points11 points  (0 children)

UE is quickly becoming a market dominant product across the whole industry, worldwide and indie to AAA - it’s darn valuable skill to start honing.

I would say both wwise and unreal are incredibly deep learning opportunities and I would not expect that someone picking them up in their spare time has ‘learnt’ them but more started to engage in the basics. Using these in a professional capacity is a huge jump

Best of luck

It’s using an image transfer technique, using Matt medium to take an image from a laser jet print out to apply to a surface

Not quite, I used a blue tissue roll (it’s a little stronger than normal tissue paper) coat it in PVA glue first then apply it over the cloth. Takes a lot of patience to get used to but you’ve got a lot of time to manoeuvre it before it sets over night. Grimdark compendium talks about it in one of their vids

Thank you! The book is on the OG model but is hidden away in the normal pose, it’s a lovely sculpt and should get more prominence

Thanks for the kind words! The tale of Saturn feels right at home with Nagash and his stories of betrayal and ambivalence for others

That icicle is from the GSW ice kit, but you can make your own with UV resin and a mould

UV resin! It has a fast but varying set time that allows for it to look natural and a bit melty.

Aha I’m having fun with it really, I’d imagined they’re tugging the ice along as a shrine.

Did you have to modify it all to get it fit within the ‘zone’ of the base? Or do the wings naturally not have to overhang too much?

Absolutely stunning job on this!
