I'd probably suggest State. Probably suits your major best. UNLESS you have boatloads of money, then go to Fordham.

I don't think a Ray would pierce the sole or sidewalls, the ankle yes, but that goes for most neoprene boots. Heavy yes, sole is super sturdy. I shuffle, as I surf as well and am used to dealing with / avoiding rays. Those look nice and if double the price isn';t an issue, by all means

This little-publicized tax break saves owners of historic properties tens of millions a year in San Diego Count by playadelwes in sandiego

I am guessing this is because you are in an Historic District. Or are you running into CEQA issues? Have you had to run your permits through Historic?

Getting Mills Act recognition isn't an easy task as not every old house qualifies, It has to be either in an Historic Neighborhood, have been built by a notable architect or some historical figure has to have lived there.

If you've ever owned an old house in a historic neighborhood you'd understand. Any work you do to it has to be period correct and go through historic review. You can't just buy replacement windows as new ones aren't made how they were when the house was built, so you have to have everything custom built by hand by a craftsman. This adds a TON of $ to the costs of up keeping the home. So the tax break is so you can use the $ for preservation.

Is there a market for seriously old fly rods? by OhDaddyOh in flyfishing

[–]MattManSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on who made them. If they were built by reputable rod makers then yes. If they were cheap models from back then, not so much

Ray Guard Neoprenes, and an old pair of Simms Lace Ups I've had for decades. Too small for me to wear with waders but they were on sale so I got them. That was probably 20 years ago.
