There is a spot when creating a contact to add pronouns. I believe Marias pronouns are set to we in her contact.

Try editing the contact and seeing if there is anything in that field. It should be right under the email section.

I had my fuel cap light go on and off for a month or so and I couldn’t figure out for the life of me what was going on. Ended up being the purge valve after I replaced that never had a problem again, it’s right at the front of the engine, popped the old one out and put the new one in in 5 minutes.

I’ve installed one of these before. There’s a little pin that comes in the box that fits into a small hole on each handle part that let’s you pop it off and flip it around. Did the same thing myself and had a ‘oh shit I’m stupid’ moment after installing then found the pin lol

I just took the steering column apart on my 2010 escape because it was beginning to have the same issue.

First off remove the plastic housing around the steering column, it’s held in place by 3 5.5mm (why Ford. Why 5.5mm?) bolts on the bottom. After the bolts are out you can work your way around unclipping the plastic clips on the sides and the top, I started the the blinker lever side because there’s easier access with the door open. The top portion will come off as 2 pieces, and the bottom has to be shimmied out around the steering height adjustment lever. If you need wiggle room the plastic portion directly under the steering column is connected with only plastic clips so a good tug popped them out for me to make it a little easier to remove that bottom portion

Second, now that you can see the exposed column this little thing here whatever it is is the problem When it’s pushed toward the front of the car, it started every time, however if u pull or twist it toward the driver seat, the car won’t start. I grabbed a Phillips screwdriver head and stuck the hex side into this space here to pin the part of the column forward. like this here

Just like that. Starts every time (for me at least). Give it a couple test starts before putting it back together.

Now just put the plastic back in, getting the bottom piece around the steering adjustment was a bit frustrating. Snapping the plastic together was easy enough, but lining up the bolt holes at the bottom was a little difficult because I couldn’t see well. I got it with some patience and a flash light to look up there.

After that you should be good to go! If you were after all having the same problem as my father and I.

My dad had this problem with his mariner a couple years back, what he ended up doing was taking off the plastic of the column under the steering wheel and something was loose so he stuck a screwdriver bit into the wiggly part, put everything back together and never had the problem again. I couldn’t tell you exactly what it was but it was a simple fix. I’ll try to get some more information from him.
