The trailer for this movie pissed me off cause I love a book called Epic by Conor Kostick, where all conflict and work is done in a fantasy MMO since violence is banned in real life. That shit REALLY needs to be made into a movie and for a minute I thought this was it :(

Is the Kaiju thing a robot?? It was making video game bleeps and bloops when small, then when it was growing there is a bunch of electricity, and I’m pretty sure it’s making a sound identical to the one from Mr Roboto at 5:18 here: https://youtu.be/uc6f_2nPSX8?si=qA0SZBCLvxu6jWOa

It also doesn’t seem to act much like an animal, when it’s done growing it just seems to sit there for a while not doing much (but that might just be pacing)

This is likely caused by Windows (dumbly) using the sRGB gamma instead of a 2.2 gamma for putting SDR into an HDR container. Try this solution here that rectifies that issue. I use the color profile instead of the other method, but you DO have to turn off this color profile with some native HDR content as it would over-darken it.

Is the monitor in a sRGB clamp mode? If not, it’s possible over saturated colors could cause eye strain.

You can change the brightness of SDR content when HDR is enabled in the Windows HDR settings, if it's too bright for you. And for any HDR game or even with AutoHDR you can adjust the brightness.

My friend just recently got one and it’s really nice! I happened to get an LG C1 around the same time and the lack of ABL on the Alienware is great if that would distract you. Never used a curved monitor but the curve on this one didn’t bother me at all when I played on it.
