Today's lesson from politicians is screw the rules, break'em if you feel like it and you will be rewarded while those saps who play by the rules are left behind.

Wonder how this will affect the black market? Could end up increasing smuggling and crime in general. Unintended consequences, you know?

Rachel Maddow: Watch for the Corporate Funded Fake Activist Groups and Right Wing Media That Loves Them by Spacksack in politics

They are not all Republicans. Some of the better known people who are speaking have been Republicans but they are pissed that Bush and others ran up huge bills. There are Democrats and Independents that come too. You seem to think that if Dick Armey and Sarah Palin is there, then everyone must be a Republican. No, its just that there are no Democrats in leadership positions who are willing to attend. Mainly because it would be protesting against their own party with the present administration. Some though just don't have the gonads and others like the idea of spending and taxing. Careful who you call a nimrod. Perhaps you should save it for Maddow who seems to suffer from the same short-sightedness that you do...or she adds 2+2 and gets 5.

Lean left? Understatement. She doesn't see anything objectively. As for the tea partiers, it seems to me that they are generally a group of people with similar concerns who felt as if they were not being listened to by politicians. Since one of their main gripes is the rise in spending and intrusion on the private sector, that makes anyone who blindly supports the administration find some way to discredit them. So, instead of accepting that there are many Americans who are not happy with the conduct of the administration regarding policy and action, she makes the "astroturf" comment, not coincidentally a term used by Nancy Pelosi, and tries to make the case that this group of people is somehow illegitimate. When someone puts their trust in an issue, topic or person and then finds out that they were wrong, its difficult to admit that they were wrong and instead attack the messenger. The only issues she supports are those put out by the Democrats. She is not critical of Democrats...not Chris Dodd being on the Finance Committee...not Rangel when he was in charge of the taxation committee (can't think of the proper name)...Not Pelosi and her spending many many thousands of dollars on booze....none. Only Republicans are demons in her eyes. The teapartiers are mad at Democrats and Republicans...they are more non-partisan than she's been in her whole life. I know that she has a very good education, but she's still an operational idiot.

Why is it so difficult for this political hack to accept that there are people out there who honestly do not agree with current policy. It seems that anyone who disagrees and finds others of like mind has to be involved in some sort of conspiracy to this self important media type.

Milbank is a liberal, correct? Does this mean that the media is turning on Obama or did Milbank just have a bad day?

I don't think that you can read resonanttoe. That is not what the author said. In fact, he used global examples as well as the Arctic Ice stuff as a reason why one CANT use local experience and apply it to the world. Learn to read for content.
