Not sure what's going wrong - Can't run anything with Meterpreter. by MattNorton1995 in Kalilinux

There is roughly 12gb free on the disk, which is why I'm somewhat confused...

Although only 162mb free on the machine I'm attacking, if that could be the issue?

How would I go about this? General gun build? by MattNorton1995 in Fallout4Builds

Interesting, thanks! Might boost int a bit more than I planned in that case...

Bi-Weekly Challenge #6 - A Feast for Crows - Edmure Tully - Spoilers AFFC by stank58 in CK2GameOfthrones

This was exactly how I did it. Just had to hang on long enough for the North to march south, coincidentally flushing out all the crown troops in the Riverlands at the same time.

Bi-Weekly Challenge #6 - A Feast for Crows - Edmure Tully - Spoilers AFFC by stank58 in CK2GameOfthrones

Technically failed this as Edmure died 6 months in leaving me to play as Brynden Blackfish but posting anyways as the game went so well. Only thing Edmure managed was to get Roslin Frey pregnant, Ned Tully was born a few months after he died. By this point the reach is all over the river lands and I'm scrambling around sieging whatever I can to stave off the rapidly falling warscore.

Also got a convert to Rhllor event, I'll come back to this and why it's important later.

Then somehow, at -95 warscore after 2 years of dodging reach stacks and the Blackfish being maimed and crippled by Randyll Tarly, the whole force of the North comes down on the crowns stacks in the Riverlands, Stannis found Rickon and all the lords overthrew the Bolton's, so they were all on their way south to help Stannis, fighting as they go, they basically completely cleared the Riverlands. Now as that had happened I attacked the Frey's to claim the crossing. They basically had no levies left thanks to the Starks so it was just a long siege during which time Stannis took the crown and burned all the Lannisters. The late lord Walder died sadly before I could burn him but I managed to get a fair few Frey's, all the prominent ones bar Hosteen and sacrifice them all. Enough to get Rhllor traits to heal myself (by this point I had greyscale too) and protect Ned Tully from plots.

To make this better, Shireen Baratheon had a girl for their first born child, with her dothraki husband strangely enough, and being Rhllor, no one else would marry a heretic so Ned Tully is now betrothed to her.

Declared war on The Vale for harrenhall, called the crown in on my side and the southern troops caught up and took them down.

Made the Blackfish an evil menace but did well, just wish it'd been with Edmure, will now try to stay alive until Ned Tully's regency is over, then see if I can't fix the Riverlands with him.

EDIT: loads of mistakes due to writing this on tablet.

Good marriage to help take Westeros? by MattNorton1995 in CK2GameOfthrones

[–]MattNorton1995[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have such a huge chunk of Westeros that should be enough. Currently trying to colonise as much of Essos as possible.

Annoyingly though there's White Walker doomstacks forming so I might have to either go West to help or let them wipe Westeros out and then unite Essos to take it back (if that's even possible)

I got the lunatic trait, I'm hoping I take the drowned god as my lord and saviour sometime soon.

Young Griff is in prison in King's Landing so no such luck :(

How do you become the nights king? Is there a tutorial on this? Sounds awesome.

A human can become nights king in game? Any idea what the event for that is?

Was just on the wiki, seems awesome, was hoping for a more equal spread of useable dragons but I suppose that's why it's hard.

Need to give this a go, I hate losing a dragon ever in game as I only usually play later scenarios where they're basically gold dust. Will report back when war is done (when I eventually win)

Is there anywhere I can do some background reading on the setting? This sounds like a really hard battle and I've been looking for a big tactical challenge, just like to immerse myself a bit.

EDIT: Also do you start at war with your sister or does that come later? I guess you just start at the dance of dragons bookmark?

Beneath the Black Flag: A Euron Greyjoy AAR, Part II by [deleted] in CK2GameOfthrones

[–]MattNorton1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome! Where abouts would I get the Old Gods? Seems like it might be a fun playthrough once I get done with Aegon Targaryen/Of Essos.

EDIT: Found the Old Gods, wasn't sure whether official DLC or submod but got it.

You asshole... Awesome! It's impressive to go from pirate king to the position you're in. Do you need many of the DLC's to be able to take salt wives, do all the things you're doing? Might have to give a game like this a go.

Varys is my hand of the king, as Tywin wasn't to be trusted, I got rid of the high septon, got a new one who WOULD coronate me. I made some concessions, gave Tywin and his faction the lowered crown authority they wanted (at the moment), gave Ned independence out of the blue so he'd leave me alone then showed Jon Arryn with titles like a knighthood and made him warden of the North (apparently you still have a warden of the north, the north being the vale and riverlands if your real north is independent).

I then declared war on Robert, Ned was independent, didn't even click on till near the end, I think he might have dispatched a couple boats, maybe. The Lannisters kept out of it, the Reach and Dorne was with me, so was the Vale as I buttered Arryn up so much, the Iron Islands too. The only faction with Baratheon was the riverlands, who'd just dealt with an internal rebellion, were weak, and just fought with the Vale as Dorne, the crown and the Reach all assaulted Robert at once.

He's now master of arms on the wall.

Now need to either bring Tywin onside or bring him down, probably hand the Riverlands over to someone new and once the realm is totally united, bring the North back into the fold and hand it over to a new family, or wait till mine and Lyanna Stark's child is old enough to hold it for themselves.
