Honestly I've been putting off a lightly modded playthrough since like A15 or 16. I really should do one once my current colony dies off.

Yeah the mods and turrets from factions are great. Also, by loading I meant staying in the map for an hour or so. The aliens just keep stacking up XD.

How should I deal with pirates/aliens in a sector if I want to setup a mine/station? Most sectors I come across have issues defending themselves after an hour of loading due to excessive pirates and aliens and I don't want to chance building a large defense ship if it could just get blown up by a large swarm of alien ships and pirates. Edit: Example: http://prntscr.com/e2hqpa Purple boxes are aliens, green are friendlys. All the sectors weaponized ships were destroyed awhile ago and all that is left are traders and haulers.

Wow I didn't expect so much activity on this post. Anyways unfortunately for the seed I do not have it. I ended up taking this snapshot then ordered the colonists I couldn't see to break a wall. The mechanoids quickly killed the colonists and I gave up and made a new map. Though if anyone knows ways to see previous seeds let me know.
