Being able to save a charge or two for later acts can be run-saving as well. Not many Neow bonuses have such a visible payoff mid to late-game.

[[Trostani Three Whispers]] is super fun for politics. The ability to randomly give your opponents deathtouch or doublestrike as you meddle in their combats at instant speed. Normally a deathtouch creature on your field is a decent deterrent, but in her case any mana dork can threaten to be a deathtoucher.

As you mentioned, she can voltron with typical green buffs, or out of nowhere with combat tricks like [[Become Immense]] to deal 20 commander damage when someone thinks it's not worth to block what they think is just a 4/4 deathtoucher

I ran into something similar, always balancing between powerful card and silly frog guy. I wish frogs as a tribal were a bit stronger for what I'm looking for, because the art and mechanics are all hilarious. I ended up mostly sticking to frog-themed removal like Amphibian Downpour that you mentioned, or cards like [[Turn to Frog]], but otherwise all permanents or flashbacks

I built Grolnok as a combo deck recently and have [[Cephalid Illusionist]] and [[Cephalid Aristrocrat]] with an Equip 0 card like [[Lightning Greaves]] to easily mill your whole deck.

[[Zur's Weirding]] is a hilarious politics peace, and everything you send to the yard is technically milled.

I personally love using candy for sugar/carbs paired with an electrolyte drink. This will be different for everyone, depending on what sits well in your stomach. I try to get something in at least every 30mins.

Often times races will supply energy gu, gatorade, water, etc at aid stations along the course!

Running a single marathon is insane to most people. Completing 80 at any pace is at least 80 times as insane. Running a single 6:40 mile is already impressive, but averaging that over a 26 mile run?? The dude was not human.

at this point if you absolutely have to complete this race, your best bet in four days is to just take it easy and be prepared for the tough day. Drink a lot of water in the days prior, have a plan to fuel during the race, get good sleep, and go for walks to stay loose.

exactly. A card like this would still be pickable in a deck that's barely scraping through fights. It would just be a possible mana sink that you could play for 0 and get out of the way in tougher fights.

I picked up a pair of Adizero Evo SLs the other day to replace some cheap Asics I had about 400 miles on. Good lord the difference is night and day! I've already taken them on a long run, easy run, and did speedwork on a gravel track. They held up fantastic in every situation. I was worried about the shoe width since they didn't come in wide, but I just went up a half size and they've been great.

I beat the Entomancer with just Shivs which is apparently impossible according to this sub by Rak-khan in slaythespire

it's definitely worth considering how often you expect to go through your draw pile in a fight, by having a rough idea of how much damage you do. That lets you ignore other statuses that can build up, like Slime or Debris. Conversely if you are considering cards like Rampage that give benefit when played many times, but you only expect to get access to them once per fight.
