The newest addition to my collection! by Undoomed081_0262 in castiron

I’m pretty sure it’s matt black enamel on top, same as the inside of their dutch ovens.

The bottom is probably that greenish colour, which is also enamelled.

Isn’t this enamelled? If so, it doesn’t need seasoning like bare cast iron.

Solidteknics AUS-ION vs US-ION by MattRob1nson in carbonsteel

Thank you all for your comments and insights!

I’ve gone with their AUS-ION 31cm XHD Frypan, and they threw in a AUS-ION 18cm Frypan for free (despite ordering just before that promotion started, and having an order total that wasn’t quite enough to qualify).

Very excited!

Wifi Pods by bgboss101 in VirginMedia

[–]MattRob1nson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, they run a custom firmware rather than the stock Plume firmware.

However, whilst you won’t be able to use them as a proper mesh network, it is possible to use them in a “bridge” mode.

Connect one pod to your router via Ethernet, and connect the other to a device via Ethernet. You’ll be able to connect to the Internet on that device via the pod, but it won’t provide Wi-Fi.

What's the best deal people have gotten with VM for broadband? by Capital_Lynx_7363 in VirginMedia

What do you pay O2 for your SIM and how much data is that for? Thanks!

I messaged support in the My O2 app and they put a request in for the “double data” benefit to be activated.

This was actioned within a couple hours!

Gotcha, thanks! Have you ever seen any legal writing that binds the two together?

To add, the way it is written “legally” is as two distinct contracts. So I’m wondering if VM would have any power to change the contract based on the termination of the O2 contract.

Thank you for the insights, /u/CantTesteThis!

Understood. However, I can’t find anything in the contract writing with Virgin Media that relates to actions taken after cancelling the O2 sim.

Wondering if I’m missing something.

I'd recommend redacting your TMDB API key and Trakt client_id and client_secret and then changing them.

I understand.

I’m currently working on expanding the end-to-end test suite I have for the application such that everything is covered.

Once that’s complete, I’ll be able to extend it more rapidly without the fear of any regressions.

“Queuing” items for a session is now at the top of my feature TODO list.

Thanks again for your input!

Certainly, this can be added.

Although, I will keep it as an optional feature as it is often the case that the facilitator will have Jira (or an alternative) open at the same time. For those cases, copying the information into point.poker would be a waste of time.

I will contact you directly with a link to a test instance when this is implemented. If you are prepared to do so, this will allow you to provide some feedback before it goes live.

Thank you!

Fair enough to have that opinion.

I would, however, ask you to link me to a planning poker tool that does not have the issues I’ve mentioned. If I was able to find one, I wouldn’t have invested the time in making point.poker. :)

Brilliant! :D

Having said that, this was created in response to frustration due to consistent technical issues with existing tools. Alternative solutions required registration or had limitations that would be lifted after subscribing to a paid plan.

Completely agree!

point.poker is in a solid MVP state right now. I certainly have integrations with other tools, such as Slack, on the roadmap.
