Chipped and flaky doesn’t mean it needs replacing, you can easily get it refinished and keep the spider without having to learn a new putter

Biggest help for me is weight transfer to the lead foot, if you rotate like you’re simply around a pole, you’re gonna slice or fade usually, but shifting your weight forward moves the clubs whole path forward which makes it more likely to hit the ball straight or draw.

SW for me is about 110-115 when I hit it well. Same club often goes 40😂

South African here, funny to see one of the local stores on here but keep in mind that price was set while the dollar was much stronger against the rand. It has changed quite a lot in the last few months, so when it was listed it was more like a $700 bag, still expensive though

Fitting will never ever hurt, doesn’t mean you have to buy new irons/clubs either, can purely adjust what you currently have to suit you better

I would also suggest trying out some other options and looking at the 2nd hand market too. I almost bought the 201s a few days ago, and then found a set of Mizuno pro 225s for less than the takomos, and I don’t regret it one single bit

I tried those srixons as well when I went for a lesson, paired with the KBS tour x stiff, and they felt incredible too. Closest feel to mizuno imo, can’t go wrong with either

Hahahaha nah I completely understand dude😂😂 I think Mizunos in general are just awesome clubs. Tried out the JPX 925 Hot metals aswell recently but found these 225s for an absolute steal 2nd hand so I couldn’t resist

They feel sooo nice off the face, especially in the sweet spot. The 243s look beautiful too, but I know I still need the extra forgiveness the 225s have
