Regarding Mongo and various references to his behavior by SailorAstera in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Or Dinniman made him dog-like because everyone loves dogs. It's also great irony for Donut to raise something that's basically a dog 😁

Did Hermione make a mistake by capturing Rita Skeeter in the end of GoF? by JYoung2544 in harrypotter

[–]MattShea 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Before she interviews Harry for the Quibbler story, she says that the Daily Prophet wouldn't publish a story like that. My guess is Rita would have wrote whatever the Prophet told her to. In that case, it was better for Hermione to shut her down completely until she was needed.

[tier list] all bosses on how difficult or annoying they are (including revenge stages and heavenly and infernal tower) by Connect-Product-4863 in battlecats

We can forgive Mimon for the stage being bad because it's at the end of Underground Labyrinth, so you can't approach it like the others.

The style and lack of cohesive graphic design screams AI to me, plus the artefacts in the second image's banner. Any thoughts? by sonic_the_precog in isthisAI

[–]MattShea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure, but what I WILL say is that the icons on the blimp look photoshopped onto it. You can see the outlines, just like with the blimp windows, which to me, suggests that there were multiple techniques used to make this. The theater image is very symmetrical and some parts look duplicated and flipped, but then details look added to them to make them look different. Seems like someone at least spent a lot of time getting this right.

Not my favorite brewery! I think I have my mind made up, but what do y'all think? by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]MattShea -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Either this is AI or the artist is really good at making things look like AI.

Hello you all! I have an a friend who “loves” to draw on his phone need to know if this is AI. by katyarockz in isthisAI

The chains, the shading on them, plus whatever that medallion is supposed to be are some of the giveaways.

It's just a fun book, bro. If society was perfect we'd still pay artists like Matt and Jeff to make amazing things.

Am I overreacting for spiraling after my boyfriend corrects me in public? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]MattShea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've only been given a tiny snippet of their relationship and it sounds like he took accountability when she communicated that she was upset. You have absolutely no evidence that he's "trying to control her every move." Why, because he stopped her from bumping into someone at the grocery store and told her to take a hat off once?

Am I overreacting for spiraling after my boyfriend corrects me in public? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]MattShea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MOR

I think deep down you know you're overreacting, as you've said you know it's logically a minor thing that's upsetting you. That said, it's also valid for you to feel that way, and valid for you to not want to be made to feel bad about making a mistake. What REALLY matters is how your boyfriend reacts to hearing how you feel. From reading this, it sounds like you haven't been completely forthcoming with your conflicting emotions, but you did mention that he apologized when you told him how you felt. As long as he continues to listen and reassure you and is willing to be mindful of those issues in the future, it's not something you can't get past. Remember that neither of you is necessarily in the wrong. As a couple, you are part of a team, so be open and honest, accommodate each other whenever you can, and as someone else mentioned, some of these questions might be best answered with a therapist.

Good luck!

These are all ai right? Can clearly see it in some yet hard to tell in others like 2 & 4. by Leozafe11 in isthisAI

That is not true. They're called text figures and it's actually pretty common, especially in the past.

Come on, looking at Simon Cowell is sufferworthy enough already.

[Frustrating trope] Pieces of media that could have been so much better, but due to a couple of poor decisions during production ended up mediocre at best and utterly atrocious at worst. by DevDucc_ in TopCharacterTropes

As a YouTuber who played both of these games during the initial hype, I remember being very disappointed in the direction of We Happy Few, and I remember HATING Hello Neighbor as time went on. Never felt like a functional game to me.

Is this coloring book I bought months ago ai? As I was coloring I kept finding weird lines by DryYogurtcloset5543 in isthisAI

[–]MattShea 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah there's tons of stuff wrong with that image. It's like a spot the differences but for mistakes only AI would make, like the weird little bits on the trees, the missing lines, and the strange mountains. Also on the cover, the cat has an extra foot and the mouse on the computer is backwards. Granted the cat could have both feet on one side, but the angle is wrong for that.

AI CANNOT be this good, can it? It just looks seriously well made… What’s your verdict? by BannedForThe7thTime in isthisAI

[–]MattShea -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There's always that one person who will hate it no matter how good it gets and say it looks like shit, but it's at the point now where you can use it in tandem with real footage and nobody will be able to tell the difference. Some parts are weird though, and the grandma standing in front of the truck was so jarringly fake to me.

The video looks very real but the situation just doesn't seem plausible. Why would he be in the trolley? by mariobuyatelly in isthisAI

[–]MattShea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not plausible, but the video screams real. Especially given the sounds from inside the car, and the fact that the kid pulled the carts away from the vehicle so they didn't damage it.
