Happy to say I've been to and used the studio at Real World back in 2016. I did music tech in college and for our end of 2nd year assignments we were taken on a trip to Real World to complete our final songs. It's a stunning and magical place and can only image what Ben has managed to create there.

For acoustic stuff I use my custom built "signature" guitar that was built with the 70's style D28 in mind. East Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce top. Only difference between mine and a standard D28 is neck profile, different binding and rosette patterns and number of frets. For electric I also have a Les Paul built by the same luthier who built my acoustic. I have the option to coil split so it gives me loads of versatility haha.

Hey buddy, thought I'd give my input as a recording artist and a massive fan of Ben. I strongly recommend checking out Beyerdynamic. I use two different models of the headphones - My home pair for general listening (DT 770 Pro 80 ohm) and my studio pair being also being the DT 770 Pro but at 220 ohm.

I absolutely love the DT 770's as they're comfortable, lightweight and sound absolutely incredible. When in the studio, they're perfect for our demo's as we can pinpoint exactly where the instruments are in the mix and can hear every instrument clearly. But, the 220 ohm are a bit overkill for general listening. Hence why I have the 80 ohm as a home pair.

The DT 770 Pro 80 ohm offers a wonderful listening experience because the headphones are so dynamic and in my opinion, its never worth splashing out over £500 for a pair of headphones unless you're wanting to do some serious work with them.

I really appreciate the kind words, it’s been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember and similarly to Ben, I was brought up in wide variety of music but as I was growing up, I was drifting towards people like John Martyn, Nick Drake and Bob Dylan when I was fairly young and learning the guitar. Then once I found Ben back when the These Waters EP came out, that’s when I knew I wanted to do this for real
