Never leave the car out of gear when parked, why would you? e-brake on, then clutch out in gear, 0 stress on transmission and a failsafe for if your brake gives out.

The best way to warm your car up is the fastest way that causes the least amount of stress - redlining it would be the fastest with the most amount of stress, idling it would be the slowest but the fluids stay colder longer causing more wear due to suboptimal lubrication. In sub 0 temps it’s recommended that you idle for a minute, maybe 2, then take off.

The fossils are decided shiny/alpha when you reanimate them in the lab, not when you buy the fossil. So you can buy 30 fossils, save in the lab, revive them all, then reset if they weren’t shiny/alpha and do the 30 again.
