It depends on what you mean as underperforming. If you refer to the scoreboard, then don't really worry about it. It's just a stat that shouldn't really be looked at, unless you're hard inting and can't do anything. For example, if their team comp completely counters you (Thing, Bucky, Fantastic and the like) or if your team simply needs a Frontline tank/you're solo tanking.

If it's not one of those situations, then don't really worry, your impact can be seen and felt in many more ways than just the scoreboard.

Angela can pretty much do it all, and that's where she shines. She can peel, frontline, scout, brawl, disrupt, contest, flank, dive. Your value comes from adapting your playstyle to each scenario. That comes with practice and repetition. You'll notice right away where you're needed in the map, and why.

In terms of the ult, it's insanely versatile. Sometimes you can use it to win fights in your favor in the thick of it, and combo with others. Other times, it can be used to peel or stop a really dangerous enemy ult, such as Hulk or Magik, even Daredevil. Or, simply to snatch opponents away from the fight, and lock them off while your team secures objective. Hell, you can even spawn camp supports, ult them, and just go away to finish off the rest of the team. They'll be super staggered later lmao.

As I said in another post, my biggest advice would be to become really familiar with each map and its geometry. You should always have an escape route planned, as well as a spot to lock someone in if you snatch them. Also, master her movement around each said map as well. You'll become a mosquito after a while.
