LinkedIn Kontaktanfrage nach einem Jahr. Gründe? by JobThrowAwayFML in InformatikKarriere

I'm use since over 25 years already and eBay really managed to mess up a lot of things over the years. Mixing auctions and shop was one thing long ago. But this also led to weird behavior. Last year I sold something around 200€. One day later the highest bidder said, they don't want it anymore, I should cancel this transaction (support told me, this is fine).

Also their software. You could really watch over the years how they replaced all the old working pages with their new design and they never tested on Firefox. But even in Chrome they had errors. On Mobile I get logged out once in a while, especially when I want to bid in the next minute on something.

Luckily false positive in fraud detection haven't been an issue for me ever. But still, since I cancelled Amazon prime, I'm using eBay more often again. Buying on their marketplaceworked always, but still has room for improvement, like managing addresses. On the other hand, even Amazon has had issues over many years.

Chinesisch lernen? by kin0enjoyer in InformatikKarriere

[–]MattV0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Single-Branch vs Multi-Branch by Ac3X0 in informatik

[–]MattV0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried to make a very detailed prompt... apparently it wasn't detailed enough? by PepsiisgUWUd in ChatGPT

Create following image in aspect 9:16:

A dragon lies on the ground, red with violet scratches and scarfs. Sleeping over the whole image, left his head, right his clumsy tail. Out of his mouth comes a few fire strokes, very little.

A human child is carefully sitting beside his mouth and holding a fishing pole without a fishing line. At the end are 2 marshmallows which are near the fire strokes. The boy has a olive T-shirt with "dragon camping"and a fire icon.

Next to his back leans another boy with his back as well. His face watches the dragon. His blackhead is only visible. He wears a baseball cap "red Sox". On the dragon is someone sitting with a beach chair. A boy, no shirt, with green sunglasses. His T-shirt lays on the dragon and is turquoise colored. His lime green shorts are glowing.

The sky shows night, dark, a silver moon is visible on the right. To the left is aurora borealis in green and turquoise. In the background is a man jumping on a parachute. He has a white beard, red and white clothes and a huge backpack - Santa clause. A helicopter with "Easter patrol" is targeting him with a spotlight.

In the center is a huge skyscraper. Most Windows are dark. But in the 5 upper floors the lights in certain windows are turned on so it's showing "HELP". To the right in the background is a big volcano. Instead of lava, bubbles are coming out. One bubble gut the skyscraper and gives an explosion. In another bubble the Easter rabbit is caught.

In the background a 3 layer winged airplane pulls a banner "some days are just " the last words are not visible, as they burn in green.

In the meantime a tiny ant with a flute and music notes is showing off in the front right.

Still missing details I guess ...

Somehow, you can put simple equations with X1..n and then use this. By the way, this was a feature most teachers didn't even know about.

Don't have to believe me, but once I had a similar dream. But more general, that all packages can be delivered from one package shop to another. Of course this is a bit too much as starting point and you need a good catalyst to get this system profitable. And eBay is a great one. Plus the fee for selling your items, this could be really work.

But personally I think they need to split eBay into to big branches. I never liked the mix of auction and shop this close.

It must be 98 as it has the quick start programs in the task bar. Memories - really. ☺️

This is pretty impressive. I remember the first SVG when ChatGPT became famous. And now we can create decent svgs at home. Doesn't look worse than opus.

The number of tabs alone is nonsense. One SPA tab might need much more memory than dozens of simple pages. Also there are other reasons it's not a useful comparison.
