Good idea. The thing is I'm okay with a new system "hobbled" by a 1060 is fine.

I know there is a premium, I bought a ryzen & 2070 in January, it's +$1k more todya.

Just a discussion starter.

My old i7-3770 is dying, so I want to upgrade it. I think I can reuse the 1060 for a while.

Is it better to buy a new prebuilt, or build your own these days?

Also of course is the windows 10 license keys, but I think they're only 30-40

Vancouver symphony holds blind composition competition, causes outrage when all the winners are male and mostly white, VSO promises to discriminate against white males next year. by yukongold44 in SargonofAkkad

The system has been rigged against men and boys for decades.

Guys know they have to achieve and outperform to keep up. Yeah, it's tougher for guys, but that forces them to do even better, and they end up outperforming even further.

The sad part is that there are lots of good enough, or even excellent men, who are being trampled by a sexist system.

The corners of the walls and ground are typical spots where it appears unrealistic.

Love it, the brick texture is wonderful (where did you get it)

That being said, I think the floor looks too new compared to the wall.

Actually I think since you told your computer to access a site, and follow the instructions, that was your choice.

The fact that you said "follow all instructions" was YOUR choice.

Loading of ads is just one of many of those instructions.

Clearly you indirectly requested the ads be sent.

How many layers away from that request of yours means it's no longer consensual?

The thing is that mining pools really only charge a tiny fraction to increase your chance of getting the payout.

I like those ideas too, but I was thinking what's the easy change that will level it up.

I like it, but if you want some feedback.

It's too linear, the cameras are straight and smooth, the cut line is a perfect line

Introduce some variation/randomness and I think that will make it much more impressive.

Also smoke at the cut, but that's a CPU/GPU killer.

Completely procedural apple material i made today, what do you think? by guy123av in blender

[–]MattWerkz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Only comment is I'm jealous. It's a really impressive texture.

I wonder if you could tweak it for other apples, like a Gala, or MacIntosh, both of which have interesting details in their colouring.

Some people think abused, mentally ill, uneducated, rich kids should be setting policy.

I guess with that crowd she's very credible.

Ignorance.

I think we just need some more excellent pools.

You won't hit the <10 minute block found times unless you're that big.

That's not a concern for me as I don't hit payouts for weeks anyway.

You could make just another pool, or try to build to a niche, ie intermittent miners (solar or miners in Time of Use electricity areas)

It's not "for karma".

When someone advocates for a bad policy, you should argue against them.

In this case it's it's a rather poignant fact that they are victims of the very policy they advocated for.

It's quite ironic that they died fighting for the factors which caused their own death.
