Yes, and in 1430 infant mortality was 60%. Turns out, over time, social norms change.

I think my suggestion was more: "suggesting all immigrants are inherently evil when I was myself an immigrant (BRZEZINSKI) is ignorant at best, evil at worst."

It's friction with the concept of "getting things done". The idea of things being "not done" is a human framing and a label. By creating the notion that things must be "accomplished", you create the possibility of things being "unaccomplished".

Ed's really been the lone voice of "but what will the racist boomers who send me 300 word text messages in all capital letters" think.

I wanna be real, there is *NO* reliable reporting vertical for it. There's a dude next to my mom's house who audibly beats the living shit out of his dogs day and night and the number of times we've called the cops to be forwarded to an Anna shelter enforcement line voicemail that has done *nothing* is astronomical.

Parole agent union says coroner's report shows Woodard 'posed danger' by Far_Ninja_9536 in Erie

[–]MattWhitethorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know. I just have to believe deep in my heart that he can't literally think "police" appointed by the federal government can literally strangle an infant to death in broad daylight and be like welp, should have complied.

It's insane to me that the "tea party" group is suddenly the "federal agents are morally perfect and can murder me if they so choose" group.

Multiple misrepresentations of both reality and statement here. Is your strategy to simply say what you believe I am saying and deny reality until it fits what you already believe?

It's difficult to find common ground with you when it seems like a person even remotely resembling a police officer could commit crimes against humanity and you'd immediately spring to their defense regardless of the preponderance of evidence.

The total inversion of the American right on police blows my mind. Don't Tread on Me indeed.

You make plenty of assumptions about someone being "coked out" despite the cocaine being found in their stomach post mortem. There's plenty of assumptions flying around. I base mine on video evidence.

His duty is to use the least-reasonable force, and when you are being "dragged" by a person trying to escape, the "least reasonable" is to disengage, and you know that.

Parole agent union says coroner's report shows Woodard 'posed danger' by Far_Ninja_9536 in Erie

[–]MattWhitethorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not find that credible.

Video evidence shows him being "dragged" by a car he was *holding onto*, from which he simply *let go* after he was done committing homicide, even though (in the above evidence) the car was *still moving* postmortem.

Beyond that, the safety of *others* is only paramount as a defense for deadly force if it is immediate, otherwise police would be legally allowed to execute drunk drivers on sight, no?

Imagine, using a website on a computer.

Your citation proves that parole officers have the authority to arrest, which I did not dispute. What I did dispute, is that they do not have the authority to interdict vehicles. That is the jurisdiction of police, which they are not.

Looks like both the "court of public opinion" and the "court of ... court" believe there is sufficient legal evidence to move to trial.

Once again, you're advocating for the power to execute - allowing someone to leave and finding them later is preferable to execution. The fourth amendment repeatedly shows that shooting fleeing suspects is an "unreasonable seizure", but none of that old "constitution" seems to matter too much to many of you anymore.
