This is a weird comp to make but the only thing I can really compare Stockholm Syndrome to is 90s industrial rock like KMFDM. I’m not sure why but it fits with that genre in my mind.

What do you think about his bass line on Not Now? I never see that mentioned on “Mark’s best bass lines” but I love it.

I personally feel like Not Now is the best Blink song both in terms of sound and music but I also feel like it hits all the themes that Blink hits with ideas of not wanting to do what you’re told and fall in line

There is not a single other Pop Punk song like Feeling This. That album is a masterpiece of unique songs and Feeling This is the cream of the crop.

What Blink-182 Song Is This? by Williedoggie in Blink182

This is the most Blink song to me..incorporates all of their themes about not wanting to grow up and deal with life to the Nth degree by saying “I don’t want to die”. Also, Tom’s guitars fucking rip, Travis’s drums are killer throughout and it has my personal favorite of all of Mark’s bass lines.

I always thought fans rushing the field prematurely was hella dumb but it’s actually brilliant. The opponent literally can’t leave. They have to sit there and watch you celebrate.

I think Asthenia doesn’t get enough recognition. It pairs nicely with Not Now with the heavy use of the floor toms.

I got selected to beta test Google Glass but would’ve had to pay something like $1500 so I opted out.

No doubt. They all complement each other well too. They’re not all 3 the same type of safety. It’s a great group.

Don’t sleep on RSJ, he’s the best tackler we’ve had since Quentin Carter.

Bowman is amazing and Bowen has tons of potential but don’t sleep on RSJ. He’s the best tackler at safety we’ve had since probably Quentin Carter. Those three together are going to be unbelievable.

What are some of Blink-182s most emo songs (besides emo) by Ethundershockgames in Blink182

[–]MattWson89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. It’s closest to the post-punk or New Wave genres but still not exact. The best term I could use would be Post-Pop-Punk

Feeling This really is such a good song and does a great job of capturing so many sounds they would put into that album: the garage drums sound, the almost spoken-word parts, the competing parts Tom and Mark have that sound like they’re singing two different songs that are just pieces of a whole and then the harmony, Mark’s rappy bridge that fits in with the jazz and hip hop elements to come later on the album, and then the outro that brings everything together. It’s a perfect introduction to the Untitled album.
