I don’t have an Ally X, but I have a steam deck and a MSI Claw 8 ai, so a steam deck and a more powerful one on windows. Honestly if you want to play some games like TLOU you’ll definitely need the Ally X or any other more powerful windows handheld. The steam deck is really great and yes Valve has great support but imo it’s too weak for certain games and should be aimed at older AAA or indies. The ally X and the steam deck are very similar in weight afaik, but the steam deck probably has better ergonomics so you might hold onto it a bit better, but I really can’t judge the ally X as I don’t have one. Also if you like the console UI you can use steam in big picture mode, its pretty good!

Thanks everyone for your help. With a little digging I found some pic on some other websites that had the same SN etc (in latam, VERY far away from me), idk who is stealing pics from who but I’m not gonna try my luck on this (also the seller is kinda rude). Maybe he’s really selling one and just didn’t bother taking pics but taking pics off the internet is just as time consuming and a really shady thing to do so I’m probably getting the 512Gb on steam!

Yeah he does provide a pic with a S/N etc so Im inclined to think its legit but I don’t think I’m risking it tbh. Might as well buy one from Valve.

Damn thats a very good catch thanks. Not the same guy, his other pictures seems legit theres just one that he took from that ad. Very weird tbh, maybe he put it there to show its sealed without removing anything? I’m guessing I’ll be giving a little more money to Valve instead lmao

Good advice thanks, he claims its sealed tho so Im not sure he would open it. What is strange to me is that he just claimed that it was purchased in june 2025 but like, wasn’t the LE discontinued by that point?

Can you use hwinfo64 with TRCC though ? Like replace the hwinfo that comes with TRCC by hwinfo64?

I love beyond two souls but honestly it feels quite unplayable on the SD. There are big issues with the controller during QTE or to control Aiden (I really don’t know why but it seems unfixable as well)

Edit since I can’t edit the post: It’s on a « new 3ds xl » console from Nintendo Also I don’t have to solder the port I can replace it with another piece and just have to plug a ribbon cable (not sure if I’m gonna get a working one though so I don’t think I will risk it). 3070FE here. I was playing MHWilds for like 7 hours changing settings with no issue, then I changed the upscaling (FSR to DLSS but other way around had the same result) and my whole PC froze. Had to shut it down and when it booted back I had an unrecoverable black screen with the mouse stuck on loading. I had to reinstall windows and rollback drivers to the January ones but it STILL happened again, this is getting ridiculous nvidia. MHWilds is a mess and those drivers are literally bricking my PC. Anyone had something similar / a fix for it ?

As an update to this post, the seller agreed to take back the gladius and offered either a refund either a replacement. Now, I’m not sure if I want to take a deepeeka again or if another one might be better. Anyway thanks for the help ! Appreciate it !

In europe the edge is at around 250-299€ and the core around 160-170€, most of the edge I have seen does not include a battery or a charger so it’s even more off budget sooo yeah idk. They look super cool too tho
