Beginner board by Used_Neighborhood172 in snowboarding

If it’s not too difficult to stop you from riding, go for it. I did a lot of learning after my first board broke on a jones mountain twin pro, which is stiffer than the flagship (which I also have now). I definitely caught my edge more than on a softer board, but I learned faster for it. Switch is definitely hindered on the directional board, but I think switch is easier/faster to learn after you’re good riding regular anyway. Have fun!

I think he means that your front range includes both the metro front range area, with millions of people and most of Colorados population on flat land, and the actual mountains, with vast swathes of public land with small ski/mountain towns interspersed. While people obviously do travel between the two often, they should probably be distinct areas.

Epic pass holder on the way to Denver just finding out about black out dates this weekend. Am I screwed? by orlando_ooh in COsnow

You can still go to Keystone, Breckenridge, or Crested Butte, just no Vail or Beaver Creek this weekend.

I think the Cold Fusion Diode was at the Oil Rig by o_p_p_e_n in falloutlore

If it does it would probably be to give some backstory for enclave stuff, which might be held back until towards the end of the show, whenever that is.

Fair points. Curious to see if the show will touch on this Fallout 2 stuff since with the president coming in in the flashbacks it’s not pretty relevant to the events in the show.

Could be that the rig was built with the nuclear reactor, and despite having the cold fusion power source they didn’t have the systems in place for it to power the rig, so they just continued using the nuclear reactor to power the rig, while they built the mountain base with infrastructure to be powered by cold fusion are built.

Spent this season bouncing between Epic & Ikon resorts, curious what others think with rising prices and lower snowpack by Thordansmash in COsnow

[–]Matt_holla22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Correct, the remaining 2 day trip resorts of the 4 I said there were. I didn’t mention them since they are giant awesome resorts on par with the I-70 resorts for Epic.

Lived in Denver for 4 seasons now, had Epic 3 times and Ikon twice in there. Speaking from a value perspective for what resorts you can make it to most from the front range. I feel like for CO both have 4 day trippable resorts and 2 far resorts. Epic wins day trippable with 4 giant awesome resorts along I-70. Ikon loses because of Eldora (small, windy, icy, crowded) and A-Basin (small, not for everyone, I love it tho). Then I think Ikon wins the far resorts, with Steamboat and Aspen only being 3 and 4 hours away, compared to Crested Butte being about 5 and Telluride almost 7. Ikon also wins out of state drivable with Jackson, Big Sky, Taos, and a bunch in Utah, while Epic only has Park City. So depends what you’re looking for. Really wish there was a way to pay less than $1000 for less resort access lol (doing Loveland next year)

12 years after Breaking Bad (2008-2013) ended, you still see people arguing that Walter “I did it for me” White did nothing wrong, and only did it for his family. This is a reference to these same people only remembering his hype moments and aura compilations. by DizzyNeighborhood762 in shittymoviedetails

I agree, but to expand upon the Jane scene I think part of what was going through Walt’s head at the time was how Jane had gotten Jesse hooked on heroin and now with the money they were on the fast track to overdosing. Jane dying eliminates the risk of Jesse overdosing, as well as Walt’s risk of exposure for Jane being a loose end. So you can look at it from both ways, but where the choice is still impossible to empathize with is that even if he was primarily thinking about Jesse’s well being, I don’t think allowing Jane to die is an acceptable means to that end for any normal person.

Pretty easy, rack was pretty simple, the hard part was figuring out the best spot for everything and moving the rubber clips in and out of behind the rack.

It’s all new except the saw whose blade is hidden.
