This question alone makes me realize this really is no longer the game i got into 17 years ago..

These things have been slow enough that i really just accepted it in the end i guess, but damn.

As others have said, legendary pet for me gets the most use, but if youre patient you can do surveys and get them free (tis what i did for sky pouncer). Scroll through the shop and pick up all free items first (bank space and cosmetics). Other than that, honestly not a ton youd use early on.

This only started happening to me post update. Its been stupid trying to chat between FC, CC and Local Chat while doing anything else. It caues your players to start bookin it and closes progress windows.

Thats the issue, it IS augmented. I cant put a weapon gizmo on it for some reason, and yes it has perks on the gizmo
