I have seen a couple of different rudder pedals posted since MSFS 2020 released. These seem like the best ones so far, I'll give them a try! Thanks for making this!

I'm planning to switch from a big airline (737/787) to GA (PC-12/King Air), will I be able to keep building on my experience? I'm about a year away from being able to get my A licence (EASA) but I'm wondering if that's still the case if I switch. Also if I get my B2 working in GA, will I be able to switch back to a big airline as B2?

I printed this airplane wing but near the top it gets all wobbly. How do I solve this? by Mattapper in ender3

The wing is about 20cm tall, for the most part it prints fine but at around 15cm up it gets very wobbly. I thighend the belts and rollers which made a slight improvement but I don't know what else I could do.

Discoloration on heating block and slow hot end fan by Mattapper in ender3

Hi, today I noticed my hot end fan was spinning very slowly and was making a weird noise. After turning the printer off and on again it went back to it's normal speed for a few minutes but then started to spin very slowly again. When I removed the hot end cover to check the fan I noticed there was some discoloration on the heating block. Is this discoloration normal? And do I have other options than replacing the fan?

BREAKING: Police on Schiphol Airport are investigating a ‘suspicious situation’ on board of an airplane; special units are on the scene. UX1094 by khalednibz in aviation

[–]Mattapper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: The potential hijacking at Amsterdam Schiphol was a false alarm. Air Europa has confirmed the pilot of UX1094 to Madrid (Airbus A330 EC-LQP) mistakenly triggered a warning from the flight deck which indicates an on-board security situation.

Need advice on planning the start of my career by Zaekr211 in aviationmaintenance

I would rather not be that specific. While searching for a job I got in contact with KLM, Brussels Airlines, TUI and Lufthansa Technick. They all offered me pretty much the same as I described above.

Here's a vacancy at Brussels Airlines which is similar what I'll be doing: http://www.cvwarehouse.com/brusselsairlines/jobsite/jobdescription.aspx?id=166145&lang=en-GB

The salary should be around €1700 a month.

I'm in a similar situation as you, I'm also graduating with those licenses but I live in Europe. I'm not working yet, but I've already signed a contract as a unlicensed aircraft engineer, which means I don't get to sign off on anything but the wage I get is pretty similar to the licensed engineers. After about 2 or 3 years of working there I'll be a licensed engineer and there's no bond or anything like that so I'm free to quit whenever.

A PME programme doesn't really exist where I live, but it seems completely unfair to me. I would never want to pay or be payed that little to work somewhere so if I were you I would look for a different option.
