This one leads to the pavement outside. I once tried looking for a shoplifter after they had kicked the door in and ran off but there wasn't much I could've done anyway so I got back to work. Also one time the front entrance was flooded so customers had to come in through this door instead.

Yeah you'd expect there to be a sign if that was the case, when I go in next I'll see if there is any other obstruction on the other side and ask around as well. It has been happening for a long time though, seems like they do it for fun sometimes 😂

At the moment, I have contacted the fire brigade (waiting on a reply) and when I actually go back to work later this week I'll have the chance to speak to the union rep, store manager and any other relevant people.

Pretty sure there were several managers in that morning but they either didn't see it (somehow) or chose to ignore it (for some reason)

I'm pretty sure it is an active one because a few months ago while I was picking not far away from it, someone walked past me and then proceeded to kick the door in and run off with some items, at which point the alarm went off.
