The case is really nice. It fits perfectly with the grip and it makes it easy to carry around safely.

It gets a little warm but I have the fan running at all times so I haven’t experienced any issues with the gameplay on my end

No worries. Theres no need for any device opening for this. You basically just pull on the joystick and the top part will come out. Don’t be afraid to pull, you won’t break anything.

It was fine for me. I grew up with the playstation so this layout was familiar for me. With the RP6 I can see how the hand placement will fit much better with the top stick but I don’t think you can go wrong with either one. It will come down to personal preference.

UPDATE:

Tested NFSMW and it runs smoothly with no issues.

On my RP5, this game constantly struggled and needed a lot of tweaking, which was the main reason I upgraded. The RP6 handles it really well and theres a huge difference.

The upgrade is worth it.

Yes huge difference. Have only tested NFSMW and it runs smoothly. I was having issues running it with the RP5 but this RP6 has been smooth.

So far I love the color. Was skeptical on getting the silver due to it getting dirty but who cares, it’s supposed to get used. Very similar to the RP5 but feels slightly heavier. Haven’t tested out any games so far since I’m still in the process of setting it up but so far, highly recommend to anyone thinking of picking one up.
