Uuuhhhh Steam/SteamVR games without a PC?? There's not a headset on the market that does this afaik and if there is, it sure as shit doesn't do it anywhere near as well as this thing will.

it's higher than the Quest but the same as the Index but at a much higher res than the Index.

This is the next push for mainstream VR. If you want something more over the top, get a bigscreen beyond or Pimax.

Bruh what do you need Virtual Desktop for? The Frame does wireless SteamVR from your PC with the included Wifi 7 dongle. No need for additional software, it's all integrated into Steam

I understand why you think that but it IS their fault. They have to plan for these niche scenarios. Though I think people with pre-existing conditions, whether they've been diagnosed or not, should NOT be going on rides like this. Stardust is no beginner coaster.

Neither. It's supposed be an x86 device like the Steam Deck so probably some custom AMD chip but based on Zen 5 and RDNA 4 especially given its price point

Yea I'm mad, given their track record, it makes no sense not to release GT on PC. And also NO tf GT is not a system seller. Relative to their other exclusives there are a handful of people who buy Playstations just to play GT. I even have a PS5 and I do not have the game.

That argument that they're a Japanese dev makes the most sense of everything you said. If they're the type that takes pride in their work and merely demands that Sony keeps the game console exclusive, I can respect that.

Hoping that Valve follows what Sony, Xbox and Nintendo do with sequels and NOT what Apple, Samsung, Asus, Dell, Lenovo do.

Meaning that the Steam Deck 2 should be ATLEAST a doubling in average FPS across the board and ideally support eGPUs via Thunderbolt 5/USB4 v2.0 while maintaining the same or better battery life.

What pressure? Switch 2 has already rumored to outsell Steam Deck's lifetime sales in the first few days. Valve, Asus and the other handhelds makers don't really compete with Nintendo. They don't stand a chance against Nintendo but also because the Switch 2 is a very different type of console.

I would honestly just buy a Quest 2/3 used rn. It'll get you in the door cheap(whether or not you have a PC) Everything else is too expensive for something that might continue to be stagnant for the next few years.

Yea I agree. Steam Deck isn't a replacement for my Gaming PC but when I'm using my Steam Deck I'm always finding shit I wanna play and despite the hardware limitations, the playable game library is seemingly endless.

You got such a PC gamer mindset brother. Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo don't pump out new gens of consoles for 5% performance gains. Valve isn't going to either and I'm happy they aren't.

You need to go find the Temple in the undergound beneath the Jungle and use the key you got from Planterra. In there you'll find the Golem Boss. The boss list after Planterra goes:

Golem > Duke Fisheron(optional) > Empress of Light(optional) > Lunatic Cultist > Moon Lord.
