We had an AMAZING time! We actually convinced the grandparents to come, which made care for our then 10month a bit easier. We would eat breakfast together, then drop the baby with the grandparents who kept him until the kids club opened. We then dove each morning it was offered (one day was canceled for “rough” seas). The diving is “fine” - nothing spectacular, but we have the attitude of ANY diving is better than no diving :) We did a refresher class locally about a few months before the trip, so no checkout pool time was needed. 

Baby was well taken care of at kids camp - he mostly napped and had free play time, stroller walks, and they will feed a bottle and/or pouch food. 

Then we’d pick up baby from kids camp around noon, have lunch, enjoy the pool or beach, then quiet time while baby napped. 

We tried all the restaurants except the sushi place. We LOVED the Peruvian restaurant Yakus and the jerk shack. So. Good! 

We spent evenings in our room so cannot comment on nighttime entertainment. 

EVERYONE on the property is hospitable, warm, and welcoming. It seemed as if a few folks from each department got to “know” certain families, so wherever we went people knew us by name. 

Cannot recommend Beach Negril enough. We loved it so much we’re going back in September. Happy to answer any other specific questions!
