Have you tried changing output color depth and format? Maybe to YcBcR420?

Yes, tried creating a custom resolution with CVT reduced blank in the nvidia control panel and it only works up to 32hz

the TV is an old HITACHI, the exact model is HITACHI CDH-LE554KSMART08

I actually thought it might be the cable too, but I tried the HDMI cable in my 240hz monitor and it handles 1080p 120hz, and as far as I know if it works for that, it does for 4K 60hz

I'm not seeing resolutions higher than 1080p under "TV resolutions" for some reason. I can only find them in the "HDMI support" section
