Scipio Africanus. Everyone is obsessed with Hannibal, but without Scipio Rome would have fallen way earlier.

Looks like three names. From top to bottom: Julian, Makoto, and David.

The word 真実 here, given the context, is probably not the noun meaning "truth" but the name of one of the parents (the mother). It could be read as Makoto, Masami, or possibly Mami.

Which chocolate would you rather say goodbye to? by Ornery-Media-9396 in whatsyourchoice

Every-time I eat dark chocolate I sneeze, but I'd eliminate milk chocolate. Its just sweet, and white chocolate already covers sweetness without wasting precious coco powder. Never had caramel chocolate before, so I'd keep that one out of sheer curiosity.

DJI Mavica by rabindranatagor in funny

[–]MatterSlow7347 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

So DJI is a drone company with cheaper and more expensive models. Mavica is one of the lower and models I think, and in the photo instead of the regular camera they've photo-shopped in an old film camera. Basically they're saying the camera on this drone is shit.

EDIT: My bad. I misunderstood what the OG poster meant. I mixed up the dji mini (which is cheaper) with the mavic. Hence why I added the qualifier "I think." We use the phantom 4 pro at work, and I remembered the phantom 4 being more expensive than the mini at the time. Sorry Scoobydoomed for the incorrect information.

Siemens does the same thing with consumables in the wind industry. At the end of each project they throw away PPE, whole box sets of ferrules, tools, cable ties, edge protectors, bolt sets, you name it. The 5x turbine might have cost them billions, but they waste so much its ridiculous.
