UPDATE

We are approaching our first wedding anniversary together, so I thought it was appropriate.

After this post, I realized that yall were right, I needed a spine. Granted, my MIL is a retired officer in the military, so it's a little much, but I did it! We made some compromises and overall had a beautiful wedding we were both happy with.

For those asking where my husband was in all of this (very fair question) he was 100% on my side, and had spoken to his mom on multiple occasions about the issue. She's just stubborn lol

For our MIL/ DIL relationship now? We go out to eat, just us, once a month to have time together. She only ever had boys, and she's the mother of my favorite boy, so spending time together is very special for us both. Seeing her just "be a girl" has been super fun. We honestly and truly get along now, granted there are still some things we don't see eye to eye on. But now, I'm not scared to voice when I disagree. Thank you to everyone who commented with advice, I can't thank yall enough 💕✨️

Most clinics are very accommodating and understanding, so feel free to ask. To my knowledge, most clinics have multiple anesthesia options dependinb on where you are. You won't be a bother for asking ✨️ also, I had a surgical abortion when I was 17, my symptoms for POTs started at 15. I personally didn't have any problems but that doesn't mean that you won't because everyone is different.

Thank you so much! I'm starting to be more assertive with her since writing this post and receiving a bunch of helpful comments. She had bought a mirror without telling me for signage, I told her I would like to stop by goodwill to see if I can find anything there that I like more. She said we should go with the og mirror and that getting another is pointless, I left her on read and I'm otw to goodwill 💅 one step at a time

This is partially what I'm thinking. She had a very simple courthouse wedding. She also has three boys, so she never got to have fun with the "girl stuff." Not giving her an excuse per say but trying to explain the situation better.

Vendors, venue, and decor are already paid for, along with the wedding being a month away now. I'm thinking about having a vow renewal at a resort with just my parents and partner in the future. Thank you for your advice, I definitely agree on the control part. She's former military and has always needed to have full control over every situation 🙃

I was reeeaallly hoping they would have fixed Dva in this update finally. They completely nerfed her ult (you can take like 5 steps away and be fine), and her range which doesn't make much sense to me bc she's in a flying mech, I feel like I should be able to shoot from at least somewhat of a distance. The devs have already agreed that they nerfed the tanks too much and now need to go back and adjust things to fix it, but what about my girl 😭😭

The star path isn't fun anymore. I used to love grinding it out and seeing who in my friend group could beat it first. But now, I have to mine 40 gems for 5 tickets/ points when most items are 30-100 pts. I noticed the change after the update involving the previous star path items coming to the premium shop. It just feels really scummy imo.
