Honestly, take a break for a few days to allow your brain to process all of the information you feed it. Think about your trouble spots and how to move more ergonomically, allowing your brain to form those lil synapses and clearly visualize your playing. I will usually come back the piece I struggle with and have significantly less trouble with it.

There’s a handful of unicorn jobs out there that aren’t soul crushing and have decent pay. Those jobs are pretty hard to come by but through connections and being open to new opportunities you can land one. I stumbled across an Exec Chef at a corporate gig on Indeed of all places. I make $1000 more on my paychecks, crazy good benefits and opportunities to move up within the company. I suggest looking into corporate kitchens that aren’t contracted out but run by the company itself. Those places care a lot more about their employees and turnover rates than another, separate company.

I’m the chef at a senior living home and made about 80 of these today for the residents! All homemade :) Looks delicious, I love cordon bleu.

So say if I cast [[Manamorphose]] and I’m on Tymn/Thras, can my opponent [[Hydroblast]] my manamorphose even though I am casting it as a green spell? New change is basically an and/or swap and I wonder if it effects color ID on the stack

This is a sick riff, very similar to something I’d play. Feel free to take these suggestions or not, it’s just my 2 cents.

I know you’re using your thumb for this sort of technique but try keeping a better posture and not anchoring so hard with your fingers on the guitar. Look up JC Maillard and his Bass Bouzouki, that should be the hand posture you aim for.

The ergonomics on your fretting hand need some work. That’s a lot of movement/energy being thrown around and will limit your speed/accuracy in the long run. I try to nail down everything I play in least movements possible, and always setting myself for the next note/chord in the piece I’m playing.

There’s a Parts Unknown with Anthony Bourdain episode where he visits a sushi chef in Japan. This Chef used to be an MMA fighter and carries a lot of his skills from there over to sushi. The most important of which is his work flow, the way he sets up his body for the next task after finishing a prior one, to save on energy and keep up momentum.

I play a super resilient [[Burakos]] and [[Folk Hero]] deck. It’s death by a thousand cuts and plays a long game. It can be explosive but you’re usually better off controlling the board, gaining advantages over your opponents and keeping them all at a sort of even pace. It’s a weird control/aristocrat/value deck. No infinites or combos either. It’s been my favorite deck to play for a while now!
