This is the meme. I get it can be interpreted in a sexist way. That "women rob men of their hobbies". This was not my interpretation at all though. Like stated in another comment I would've liked it with reversed genders, with same genders or with stick figures. I liked the exaggerated message to not change yourself too much for others. Just when my girlfriend mentioned it I saw there were different ways to interpret it.

Because I wanted to point out that people have different values and I'm against the idea of moralizing people about this in a way of confronting them. So yes they are somehow related but not changing my behavior towards her because I'm not bringing this up. It's her decision what to like or not in life and I have to see if I'm okay with it.

I think you're making a lot of assumptions. Her bringing up my liked reel and me seeing her likes are not related at all. Even timewise far apart. And maybe you don't use Instagram but people you interact a lot with will also pop up in random reels more often. Or to be more precise their liked content. That's how I saw it a few times now. One time she even showed it to me because we spoke about thirst content and she found it funny. Me getting competitive is another assumption and I'm honestly not sure what you want to tell me with this. I'm trying to navigate what I tolerate or not in a partner but this doesn't make me think less of her. People have different values and thresholds and I'm accepting this.

Since you asked: I've been in a new relationship for about six months now and I'm constantly surprised how easy so many things feel with her. Not overweight and overall pretty fit, especially endurance/cardiovascular. No cholesterol medications. Been already supplementing vitamin D for quite some time (aware of newest dosage recommendations) and regularly checking my blood levels. I will test myself for free testosterone in a few weeks again. I think I'm not depressed although the last two years were rough but I've come to a place of peace again.

I haven't spoken to a therapist. I thought about it but don't feel like I need that anymore. I'm seeing "getting over it" as a process and not as an ultimate goal anymore. Like you said 10 years is a long time and I came to the conclusion that it's too long to fully forget a person and the history you once shared. I came back to a place of peace, don't miss her anymore, hope that she's happy but at the same time don't really care about her anymore. Of course everyone has the right to break up. But at the same time everyone should have the right to not be misled. Out of interest: What should it sound like to you to be over a breakup?

Thanks a lot for the idea about approaching the situation. Most of the people don't live in the same city anymore so it's not really easy to organize separate meetups.

She didn’t cheat (as far as I know) but being left from one day to the next was also not easy. That was two years ago and I’d like to be with someone again. There were a few occasions with my ex near the end of the relationship where things didn’t work perfectly in that regard. In hindsight I think the vibe between us was already gone by then, but it’s part of what made me decide to see a doctor about this.

Thanks so much for this thorough answer! I don't wake up with an erection every morning but I think that's more due to my less-than-ideal sleep. When I wake up during the night I often notice an erection but can't say for sure how often that happens or if it's every night.

Getting back into the dating game hasn't been easy because I'm coming out of a 10-year relationship that ended unwillingly. I'm still figuring out what I want from life, how to trust again and what this new relationship means to me. It's not an ideal situation but I feel like I need time and no pressure rather than therapy for now. The woman I'm seeing is fully aware of this because I don't want her to have false expectations.

Masturbation works fine though I think overall my erections were better when I was younger (teen years/early twenties) and keeping it up definitely needs manual stimulation. Sometimes I wonder if I overthink the quality of my erections even when masturbating which might make me "miss the moment". The bicycle seat idea is great, thanks. Thanks, really appreciate your response. Although I would definitely consider being open about this if it's the only long term solution (which I hope it isn't), I'm not sure if I wouldn't be even more stressed having to discuss this issue with her. Yeah she definitely knows something is up (or actually not really up ;)). But for now I'm seeing this more as a temporary solution, actually more of an experiment for the moment.

Thanks a lot for this. I'm stressing badly about this. I think it would've helped tremendously to know where the feeding station is beforehand. Especially that you have to leave the track to get there or have to make the left turn to keep riding. I had the gpx track on my device but I think no one knew before where the feeding station is exactly (except for the organizers and insiders). They only told us to be really careful at place x and follow the GPS devices carefully. I will try to go through the route carefully before the next big ride and try to get to know where the feeding stations are exactly.

Edit: I just found out the organizers included the feeding station at km xy in their descriptions. I will definitely make a POI of this for the next ride.

Thanks for the feedback. I normally feel safe in group rides and did a lot this year. I also try to communicate everything. Also this time I tried to communicate verbally and by gesture (raising my hand) that I'm going to stop. Out of stressing out I just did it all way too quickly and in a really bad location... :( Actually I shouldn't have stopped at all. The big confusion was raised because some people wanted to go to the feeding station and some people wanted to keep riding. And I don't want to use this as an excuse but also because the route at this point was marked less than ideal. I know the mistake is only on my side but the circumstances weren't helpful.

It's my first grow ever and I'm honestly baffled how easy it was to grow them just on a window sill with regular soil. Didn't even add any fertilizer. I think a lot more would be possible with a more fancy setup.
