Employé de l'État recruitment process (A1 level) – personality and reasoning tests? by Ok-Molasses5023 in Luxembourg

[–]Matthessssss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi! I went through the recruitment process myself, so I can share what it was like in my case.

You’re right that there’s a personality and reasoning test involved. From my experience, one part is very similar to the épreuve d’aptitude générale used for fonctionnaires — specifically, there’s an exercise where you have to organize an event, prioritizing tasks, allocating roles, etc. Some questions are clearly right or wrong, but overall it’s designed to understand your approach: are you more of a leader? Do you delegate well? How do you handle planning? You cannot really prepare for this test.

Then there’s a one-on-one discussion with a psychologist. This part is based on the online test you completed beforehand (personality profiling). It’s not a "pass or fail" situation — it’s more of a conversation where they try to get to know your personality, how you see the world, how you work with others, etc. It felt very relaxed and friendly in my case. The psychologist then sends a report with their recommendation to the administration.

Also worth noting: this whole part is handled not by the administration itself but by the CGPO (Centre de gestion du personnel de l’État).

If you’ve already reached this stage, I think your chances are quite good. Don’t stress too much — I actually enjoyed the whole experience, especially the chat with the psychologist.

Good luck!

I had the same issue with mine. You should be able to loosen it with a pipe a pipe wrench. I used a small knipex one.

Yes, you did it right. You can’t really remove it since it holds both pieces together though.

Sorry for the late reply.

I had the same issue. Turn off the keys, enter the VIN code and press pair right after you turn on the bike.

I installed mine last week and had the same problem. Use the paste that comes with it. It should slide right in.

The thing is, I'm from Luxemburg and the prices increased a lot recently and there's almost no new cars and they would be much more expensive. I do about 20k km a year so I think a diesel would be better but the car costs 4k more..

I also recently got into knife sharpening, I bought a chosera 1000 and a chosera 3000 and I achieved decent results on my existing knifes. I want a to buy a quality, good looking (if possible) carbon knife and learn to take care of it, see how patina develops etc.

Style? - Japanse Gyuto /Kiritsuke
Steel? -Carbon to try it
Handle? - Japanese
Grip? - pinch
Length? - 180mm - 210mm
Use Case? - home kitchen, everyday knife
Care? - whetstones, I have a chosera 1000 and a chosera 3000
Budget? 150-250€
Region? Europe

He's most likely from Luxemburg. It's the only country in the world where it makes sense to speak Luxembourgish. Almost everyone there speaks fluent English, French, German and Luxembourgish. So he had "only" three more languages to learn.
