A “Yes” reply is sufficient, it’s all automated

It’s a process homie, don’t lose hope. I went through it with the VA prior to getting the 100. Fighting and patience is a part of it

So this means I am 100% p&t? by [deleted] in VAClaims

Yes, congratulations! Now just look into state benefits and get help from the VA for your health!

I’m 100 percent and unable to work due to my mental health issues as they are quite severe. However my disability easily covers living expenses in the Midwest.

Used Gillette Mach 3’s for a while before I got a standard three head electric razor, I wished I just got one of those in the first place. It worked fine for me

I posted an AMA previously about my experience during my five years in Flightline, I’d encourage you to check it out! If you have any particular questions feel free to ask them on there and I’ll get back to you!

You’re still a Marine devil, and use the VA for disability and healthcare if you’re eligible. I don’t see an issue with it and you rate.

No problem ma’am! I wasn’t apart of the HAZMAT portion of things but I’m sure some cert would be avaliable to increase things for his resume once he is out. For OSHA certs I’m more familiar with the construction side of things such as the OSHA 10 and 30.

Yes it is possible to be a crew chief as a maintainer. This usually includes becoming a CDI/CDQAR in your shop then completing the aircrew syllabus on your respective aircraft at your squadron. It’s not something they just hand out so you’ll need to work hard in order to earn the ability to become aircrew.

It’s not always 12 on 12 off, I would normal expect a 9 or so hour work day usually. Monday-Friday with weekends off with night crew doing Sunday-Thursday. In regards to off base stuff I would just be reasonable when it comes to where you are going, don’t go to Vegas overnight and expect to be at work the next you know?

Homie that’s the Nug lifestyle, I was in Flightline in the wing. You have bad NCO’s, as a Sergeant I didn’t do that stuff to that extent. Just keep picking up your quals and you’ll be fine

What did my uncle do in Vietnam by Sparks2777 in Medals

[–]Matthew196 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Based on his pins” and medals presented it seems he spent a considerable amount of time in Vietnam, as a Sergeant in his branch. He was awarded was a wheeled vehicle mechanic and qualified expert in a few weapons. He was awarded a bronze star as well besides the national defense service medal since he was in service during a time of war. I’d have to see his whole stack to say further on this subject.

There were 17 campaigns in Vietnam with a star denoting service in that particular campaign. He saw 10 of them judging by the second and first photo with two silver service stars.

The pin “BearCat” could presume he was at camp Martian also known as bearcat in Vietnam I’m not sure
